Congratulations with Art Philsophy

Hi everyone!  It's been a while since posting again.  I'm just trying to get back in the groove of work and the kids with homework and stuff.

Today I have a card I made with the Art Philosophy cartridge collection.  I thought this was for a DT assignment, but I looked at the wrong one!  But, it's a cute little card I get to show you now :)

Here are the details:
  • Art Philosophy Cartridge cuts
    • card base--4 inches
    • pattern paper layer--3 1/2 inches
    • pink layer with outline layer--2 inches
  • Congratulations stamp from Art Philsophy collection
  • American Crafts ribbon
  • Signo white pen
  • Glam Pink Stickles
I used Bazzill dot paper (I think) for the outline pink part and put the stickles on the dots--just don't think you can see that very well in the picture.  Now the stamp sets that come with the cartridge give you a suggested sized for the cuts to match the stamp.  But this cut had the cute out layer and when I cut it at the suggested size (1 3/4 inches) the top layer covered up some of the outer words.  So I made it a bit bigger in order to use the outline.  I don't think all the cuts have an outline and I think I will still try to follow the suggested sizes.

This is a very fun cartridge and I really can't wait to do more with it!

Have a great day :)

Helen
