Love Box

Hi everyone!

Today I have a fun dollar spot mailbox that I decorated for Valentine's Day.  I bought these a few years ago and only have silver.  But that matched the pattern paper and then I found a small piece of silver cardstock to go along with it.

Here's a look at the side.  I glued the Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine around the ends of the mailbox.  The one on the front does come off and you can put things inside.

Here's a close up of the flag.  I thought it would be cute to cover the top in the twine.  However it was a bit tricky to get it to stay.  I used a lot of glue :)

And here's a shot of the front.  It really turned out pretty cute, so I took it to work to decorate my desk.

Items I used:

  • Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine
  • My Creative Time Stitched Scalloped Heart Dies
  • Little Yellow Bicycle Lots of Love Pattern Paper
  • My Pink Stamper Lovealicious stamp
  • Silver cardstock
  • White ink pad
  • Signo white pen
When I stamped the love onto the small heart, it looked a bit light.  So I filled it in better with the Signo pen.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Anniversary

Hello!

Here's another card I made last week.  It's another one that I pulled the paper out to match the My Creative Time dies that I had.  I don't even have anyone with an anniversary any time soon, but at least it will be in my stash :)

What I used:

  • My Creative Time Stitched Restroom Peeps Dies
  • Peppermint Icicle Trendy Twine
  • Doodlebug Design day to day paper
  • My Pink Stamper Happiest Moments Stamp
  • Project Life Red pen
  • Close to My Heart Sparkles
  • pop dots
I've been just pulling out my solid color paper for things from my scrap boxes.  I sorted and organized them over Christmas break and am trying to leave them in reach instead of cutting into a new sheet.  So far, so good!

Have a fabulous day!

Brighten My Day

Hello everyone!

We had a few snow days last week so I was able to spend time creating.  If I didn't have to work full-time, I would really be able to create more!

Here's what I used:

  • My Creative Time You're Brilliant Stamp/Die set
  • Lemon Tart Trendy Twine
  • Doodlebug Design day to day 6 x 6 paper
  • Silver adhesive paper
  • Sequins
  • Signo white pen
  • pop dots
I picked up this Doodlebug paper pack and noticed how well some of the papers match a few of the My Creative Time dies and stamps.  I loved how the light bulbs in this paper even have the heart like the die/stamp!

Have a great day!!
