Merry Christmas!!

Hello everyone!!  Lesley and the Trendy Twine Team thought it would be fun to wish everyone a Merry Christmas with cards that have some awesome Trendy Twine :)

For my card, I used Candy Cane Trendy Twine which is on sale along with Holly Berry.  And there is a sale on the classic colors, so just head over to Annie's Paper Boutique and maybe do some after Christmas shopping :)

I have to say, I was having trouble coming up with a card for this post, but finally came up with this and love how it turned out!

Snowmen Treats

Hello everyone!!  I hope you all are well.  It's been a busy December so far and next week is even busier--I have something just about everyday next week and that's after work!

Here are some snowman treat holders I made a few weeks ago and am just now blogging :)  The top one I made at Archivers for a make and they had.  They sent the directions home and I made a few additions.

The directions do show to use a snowflake embossing folder, but they did not use that in the store.  And they had a square punch for the hat and another punch for the nose.  The holly is a Martha Stewart punch which I did purchase.  It also has you have that flap in the front.  On mine, I made the flap be on the inside.

I did use the Snowflake Cuttlebug folder on this.  And I cut the square and rectangle for the hat, and the carrot nose on my Cricut.  I don't remember the dimensions.  But I think it's in my Gypsy still.  If you'd like the sizes, leave a message and I'll try to get them f…

December Trendy Twine Challenge

Hello everyone!!  I really haven't blogged in a while, have I?  Guess I need to fix that :)  Today is the start of the December Trendy Twine Challenge so that's a great place to start.

This month we are showcasing two colors:  Candy Cane and Holly Berry, which are both on sale.  I used Candy Cane for my project.

I just love the way the scarf came!  I just added glue to the scarf and cut the pieces of twine to fit.  Then I added several strands for my tassel.  You can't tell from the picture very well, but I added some Stickles to the snowflake background and of course, I used some on the snowman from the Cricut Cartridge Winter Frolic, too :)

Here's the challenge details:
