Trendy Twine -- Birthdays Are Better with Chocolate

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine it Up! with Trendy Twine.  Today, I made a card using Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine.

Since it's all about chocolate this month, what's better than a chocolate cake for a birthday?  I print then cut this cute chocolate cake from my Cricut.  I added some clear Wink of Stella onto the die cut and pop dotted it onto the white layer.

I used an edge die on the white layer so that you could see some of the pretty brown pattern paper I used.  These dies always cut a line above the pattern so I glued my Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine on that.  I do love how that looks!  I finished with the little bow at the top.

After everything was assembled, I added some brown self-stick pearls.  Someone at work had a birthday so it has already been given to her and she loved it! It's always great when people appreciate hand made cards :)

Trendy Twine -- Dropping By!

Hello all!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up with Trendy Twine.  For today's project, I used the Twine of the Month, Chocolate TruffleMedium Clear Pillow Boxes, the Smile & Foodies Planner Stamp Sets, a white Tag-It and a Trendy Page Dot.

The clear boxes are just so fun! It really does not take much to dress them up.  This time, I cut some pattern paper about 2 1/2 inches wide and wrapped it around.  Then, I wrapped my Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine around the other way.

For the tag, I inked the edges with some brown ink and stamped the sentiment and cute little candy bar. I added some silver to the ends of the candy with a glitter pen and a few stick on gems.  Before tying the bow, I added a Chevron Page Dot to match the twine.

Trendy Twine -- Halloween Take-Out Treats

Hello everyone and happy Friday!  It's a three-day weekend, but I made it into four :)  And we have a fun new product to show you today -- Kraft Mini Take-Out Boxes.

The design team made some fun Halloween treat boxes with them and the cute Mini Wooden Scoops.  Here's my project.

I covered the sides with some fun Halloween paper from DCWV.  Then I die cut some spiders out of black cardstock.  I used my clear Wink of Stella over the spiders to give them some sparkle.

Next I grabbed my Orange Licorice Trendy Twine and wrapped it under the top flap so that I could attach my wooden scoop to the box.

For the top, I added two more spiders and a few orange sequins from the Autumn Sequins Mix.  I just cut some black and white cardstock and stamped my sentiment from the Happy Halloween Stamp Set.

Be sure to head over the Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see the rest of the design team's boxes--they are amazing!

Have a fabulous weekend!
