Trendy Twine -- For you

Hello everyone!  It's my turn to post over at Twine it Up! with Trendy Twine today.  I used the Twine of the Month -- Midnight Trendy Twine along with the 3x3 Craft Boxes.  I love these little boxes for a quick treat to give out!

I die cut a label on white card stock, stamped my sentiment, and punched holes on the sides.  Then, I put my Midnight Trendy Twine through the holes making the twine go in the back.  I wound it around all the sides and added a bow.   Then I used more twine to make two more bows for the 'flower' effect.  To make the twine stand up a bit, I ran some white glue through my fingers and onto the twine.   To finish it off, I used some black self-stick dots.

I hope you visit Annie's Paper Boutique and check out all the fun twine and goodies you can buy!

Have a fabulous day!!

Trendy Twine -- Happy Mother's Day!

Hello everyone!  A few of the Trendy Gals made projects to show our love for mothers.  Here are the two cards I made for my mom and mother-in-law.

I used Totally Sky Trendy Twine on the blue card along some Frosty Sequins and a flower from the Lemon Shaker Sequin Mix.   On the pink card, I used Totally Raspberry Trendy Twine and some Raspberry Cupcake Sequins and another Lemon Shaker Sequin flower.

On both cards, I used a border die from Lawn Fawn to cut the edge.  After I cut them, I realized I flipped it for the second card but I like that they are slightly different.

I hope you all have a very Happy Mother's Day!  Be sure to head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see the other projects!   Visit Annie's Paper Boutique to get some of these fabulous goodies too :)

Happy Mother's Day!!

Trendy Twine -- Congrats!

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  This month, the design team is featuring Midnight Trendy Twine.

I decided to add some movement to the card with a border die.  Then I glued my Midnight Trendy Twine on the edge.  For the hat, I decided to glue my Midnight Twine onto the cut out to make the tassel. I do like the way it ended up.

The card is 5 1/2 inches long, but not as tall as a regular A2 card.  But this was pretty quick to make and if you need a bunch to send out, won't take long.

Be sure to head over to Annie's Paper Boutique to buy this fabulous twine while it's on sale.   And take some time to browse the store--there are tons of fun goodies you can buy at great prices!

Have a fabulous day!

Trendy Twine -- Happy Spring!

Hello everyone! It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine. I made a quick spring card to show you. I used Grape Fizz Trendy Twine and the new Grape Fizz Sequins.

The flowers are from the Cricut Create a Critter Cardridge.  I wrapped my Grape Fizz Twine around the card, stamped my sentiment on, and pop-dotted the flowers on.  It needed something else so I grabbed my Grape Fizz Sequins and added some to the card.  You can't tell very well from the picture, but I did add a clear Wink of Stella Pen to the dark purple flower to add some sparkle.

I hope you stop by Annie's Paper Boutique to grape this fabulous twine and those fun sequins while they are on sale.  While you are there, check out all the fun goodies you can get at some great prices!

Trendy Twine -- Fly!

Hello!  I'm posting over at Twine  It Up!  with Trendy Twine Today.  I used the Grape Fizz Trendy Twine along with the new Grape Fizz Sequin Mix

I decided to try out making two shaker windows in the card. The plan was to used the purple polka dot paper on top, but that was too much purple with the butterflies.  I pulled out white paper, but that was to plain. So I took a purple distress ink pad and used it as watercolor.  I just swished it on the card stock making brush strokes.

I used my Grape Fizz Trendy Twine to cover the circle openings and to cover the 'trail' that I stamped. Then I added some more Grape Fizz Sequins on the card too.  The sentiment is embossed at the bottom.

Be sure to head over to Annie's Paper Boutique to get these fun sequins and fabulous twine!  There are lots of goodies to craft with over there  :)

Have a nice day!

You Make Me Smile

Hello! Here's a quick card for the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge.

I used the MFT Warm & Fuzzy Card Kit--the moose is just to cute! I added in the arrow from one of the MFT Blueprints.  The circle die, ribbon and sequins are not from the kit either.

Thanks for stopping by!
