A Trendy Twine Turtle Box

Hello everyone!  It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.   We are showcasing the fabulous Limeade Trendy Twine and the fun Kraft Gable Boxes this month.  Make sure to head over there to see all the fun projects!

For my box, I also added the St. Patrick's Day Punch and Go Printable that you can get in the store too.

The printable is cut out with a 1 3/4 inch circle punch and I cut the scalloped circle out with my Cricut at 2 inches to attach to the printable.  I threaded the Limeade Trendy Twine through the scallops and tied a bow.  Then I wrapped some around the handle of the Kraft Gable Box and then tied the tag to the twine on the box.

I used some fun polka dot paper for the background of my St. Patrick's Day Turtle.  The turtle is cut from the Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge.  The animals on this cart are so fun to play with!

There is plenty of time to get some of these great goodies in time for St. Patrick's Day.Head over to Annie's Paper Boutique to get your shopping done :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!!  The Trendy Twine design team played secret cupid--we all got a name and made a card and sent it will a few small gifts.  It was so fun!

Here is the card I made and the gifts I sent to my secret cupid.

I used the fabulous Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine on my card.  It was pretty easy to look the twine through the heart and then just tie a bow at the top.  I love the way it looks!

I also used some sequins from the Pink Sequin Assortment that you can get at the store.  I LOVE sequins :)

Here is a flat view to show you the dimension--I used slightly taller pop dots on the middle heart.

The goodies.  I did buy Valentine items, but thought that these items could be used year round and not just on Valentine's Day.  Then I added in one of the heart butterfly pops from our Fluerette Bloom Crafting Inspiration week that I made.

Make sure to head over to Twine it Up! with Trendy Twine so see all the fun cards and links to the other DT's blogs.

Have a fabulous day!

Crafting Inspiration Day 5

Hello everyone!  I am up on the Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.

This week the Trendy Twine design team is pairing up with the Fluerette Bloom design team to bring you some crafting inspiration.  Our crafting inspiration goes from Sunday, January 11th through Saturday, January 17th, please join us each day.

Today I used Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine, the Valentine Be Mine Kit along with the Hearts A Flutter Digital Papers from Fluerette Bloom. This Valentine kit is so fun--I really want to make everything from this kit.

I made 12 of the butterfly lollipop decor using 4 different Hearts A Flutter Digital Papers.   These are so quick and easy to make.  The files come with a PDF listing the sizes they should be so I set my Explore to cut them at the directed size.

Then I tied my Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine in a bow around the lollipop before sliding it into the butterfly.  The second solid layer is not from the digital kit, but my own stock.

There is blog candy up for grabs!  One Lucky Winner will win the following!

Owl Always Love You!

Hello everyone!  Today I have a pink card for you--I know, that's nothing new is it? :)  I used the dreaming owl from Too Cute by Jessica's new Owl Always Love U files.  She is so cute!  If there are owl files, I will play with them--LOL!

This owl comes with the owl parts to make the owl and those red hearts. I added Frosted Lace Stickles to all the hearts.  I did ink the edges of the owl and I do like that look.

I also used to of my favorite things--Tickled Pink Trendy Twine and a My Pink Stamper stamp. I am so happy that Robyn is back making stamps again!  This stamp is from her new I *Heart* Punny-licious set.  It got here so quickly and I was very glad since I wanted to use this stamp for this card.

When I got the twine out to use, I wasn't sure where it would go.  I like that I added it to look like the owl is hanging on to it :)

Be sure to visit Too Cute by Jessica to see all the great files.  There are new ones (and more to come) and a sale!

Valentine Tree

Hi everyone!  I have started on my Valentine cards and treats.  This is one of my favorite holidays to create for--I just love all the pink and red :)

Today I used a heart tree from a new Too Cute by Jessica file called Owl Always Love U.  Yes, there are owls and I will be showing them soon!

The red tree top has three layers so I did take a close up in the hopes you can see that.  I also used some Frosted Lace Stickles on the hearts on the tree, but those are hard to see too.  The smaller hearts are also from the same file.  I had cut the tree out and it was smaller than I wanted so I just used them around the tree on this card.

The cloud paper is Doodlebug Designs 6x6 Sweetheart pad.  I thought it was perfect for this card. And I used a bit of Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine around the tree.  The stamp is from My Pink Stamper.

There is a great sale going on over at Too Cute by Jessica--check it out!

Have a fabulous day!
