Trendy Twine -- New Year's Treats

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today. I have made some quick treat boxes that you can give out on New Year's or a New Year's Eve Party.

I used the 2x2 Clear Boxes that you can find in the store along with the fabulous Holly Berry Trendy Twine.

First, I filled the 2x2 box with some silver Hershey Kisses.  Next I cut a 1 inch white card stock and wrapped it around the box.  I cut a red circle out and stamped the happy and new year at the top and bottom of the circle so I could wrap my Holly Berry Twine around and tie the bow in the middle. Lastly, I added 2 silver stars I die cut to the front with pop dots.

Have a fabulous day and a very Happy New Year!

I used my Cricut to cut out the card and the fabulous Candy Cane Trendy Twine to accent my card.

I hope you head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see all the Christmas wishes.

Trendy Twine -- A Holly Berry Christmas

Hello everyone!  It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  Today, I made a cute little treat box using the Candy Tin and some Holly Berry Trendy Twine.  I also added two sequins from the new Holly Berry Sequins Mix :)

I did make this a simple gift, but I think it looks like a nice little gift.  I filled my tin with 8 tiny Kit Kat Bars and then I cut a two inch wide strip of paper to wrap around the tin.  The nice thing about that is the paper will slide off so the tin can be re-used :)

You may notice that the holly matched the candy -- to be honest, that did not even register with me until I edited the pictures!  I just cut the holly because I wanted to make the twine berries :)  I did add some glittery accents to the edges and middle of the leaves, but I don't think that shows very well in the pictures.

To make the berries, I put down some glossy accents and wound my Holly Berry Twine into a swirl.  I love how it looks!  I added the tag, stamped with Merry Christmas and then two of the flat sequins from the Holly Berry Sequin Mix.

These Candy Tins are so fun and such a great price.  Be sure to go grab a few over at Annie's Paper Boutique for your last minute gifts!

Have a great day!

I used the new Ginger Snap and Friends stamp set.  These are so cute!  I also used a snowflake embossing folder and some snowflake sequins.

That's it for today!  I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Trendy Twine -- Grateful for You

Hello everyone!  It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today. I made a shaker card using the new Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine.  All four new colors are so fun!  I also used the new Autumn Sequins Mix

This is my third shaker card and I think I am finally getting the hang of them.   I glued down my Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine around the outer circle.   The sequins also have some copper chunky glitter in with them.

The circle was a bit big and I probably could have added more sequins.  But I was trying to be frugal with them :)  I finished it off with a leaf that I stamped and die cut.  And then a double bow of my Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine.

Be sure to visit Annie's Paper Boutique for the new Twine and make sure to check out all the other fun goodies you can pick up too.

Have a great day!

Trendy Twine -- Happy Birthday Lesley!

Hello everyone!  Today the Trendy Twine team is wishing our leader Lesley, a Happy Birthday!  I feel so very grateful to be on such a fabulous design team and it would not be possible with Lesley!

I made and sent her a Hello Kitty birthday card using the fabulous Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine.  I know she love Hello Kitty and that means pink :)

The cut came from my Hello Kitty Greeting Cricut Cartridge.  I used the Strawberry Cupcake Twine as balloon strings and tied them together with the bow.  I also used a Clear Wink of Stella Pen on the balloons to glitter them up.  I do not know how I ever crafted without these :)  The pearls were in the cheap buy me section on the way out of Michaels.

I hope you join me in wishing Lesley a Happy Birthday and head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see all the fun projects the rest of the design team made.

Have a great day!

Trendy Twine -- Give Thanks

Hello everyone!  It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  This month, we are showcasing the 2x2 Craft Boxes and the newest Trendy Twine Colors.  My color today is Creamy Pumpkin.

I made some super quick and easy treat boxes to show you. These would be great to place at the table for Thanksgiving dinner and since I might do that, I kept them easy!

To decorate the box, I cut a 1 inch strip of Orange Polka Dot Paper to wrap around the box.  Next, I stamped the adorable pumpkin from the Hello Fall Planner Stamp Set on paper, colored it, and cut it out.  This is pop dotted on the front of the box.  I stamped the Give Thanks sentiment from the same stamp set on the top of the box.  And then I wrapped my Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine around the sided and finished it off with a box.

These are super quick and fun for Thanksgiving.  I hope you shop over at Annie's Paper Boutique for all your twine and packaging needs!

Have a fabulous day!!

Whooo Loves You?

Here's another quick card that I made after work for the Unity Blog Hop.  I do love to play along with the Unity challenges :) This isn't the best picture, but the color is pretty good.

I used the adorable You are a Hoot set.  (And yes, this is my second owl card).  I just kept it pretty simple with just the three layers.  I could not decide on a twine to use so kept this one pretty flat.

Have a great night!

It's Owl-Right

Hello everyone!  I have a quick card to share with you today that I am entering in the Unity Be Inspired Challenge this month.

This set is called Going to be Owl-Right and I love him!  I work at a university where the mascot is an owl, so I tend to collect them :)  I colored him in with my Zig Clean Color Markers.  It's fun to color and I really need to try to do it every day.

I added some Totally White Trendy Twine and some self-stick pearls from Michaels.  They weren't sticking very well though so I added some glue to keep them down.

Have a fabulous day!

Trendy Twine -- Happy Halloween

Hello everyone! I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today, and I have a shaker card to share using Grape Licorice Trendy Twine and some Grape Licorice Batty - Halloween Sequins.  This is now my 2nd shaker card ever!

After cutting out the circle for the shaker window, I decided that the Grape Licorice Trendy Twine would look good around the outside.  Then, after adding the sequin mix and the cutout bats to the card, I lined the outside of the top base with the twine too.  I think it made it look a bit better.

After it was done, the cutout bats were still a bit plain.  so I pulled out my silver Wink of Stella pen and sparkled them.  I like how that look and you can see it in the picture above that I took when the card was lying flat.  I also added a few sequins to the card and the banner at the bottom.

Be sure to pick up the fun Halloween twists while they are on special at the store.  You don't have to just use them for the holiday :)

Have a fabulous day!

Hello Fall with the new APB Stamps

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today using the fun, new Annie's Paper Boutique Hello Fall Planner Stamp Set.  They are so super cute!

These are perfect for Fall and Thanksgiving and you don't just have to use them in your planner!  So I made a Happy Thanksgiving card to show you.

I stamped all four image stamps along the row of my paper and colored them in with my Zig Watercolor markers.  Then I lined up the Happy and Thanksgiving along the top. I also used some of the yummy new Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine and a few sequins from the Autumn Sequin mix you can find in the store.

The pattern paper is from DCWV that matched one of the stamps pretty well so I just had to use it on this card.  The top layer is mounted with some foam tape.

Make sure to get a set of these fun stamps from Annie's Paper Boutique in time for Thanksgiving!!

Have a fabulous Day!

Tinsel Tangle

Hello everyone!

I'm just posting a quick card so that I can Hop with Unity tonight.  I used the cute Tinsel in a Tangle set.   I love penguins so I just had to get this cutie.

I used a silver Wink of Stella Pen for the silver stars on the tinsel.  I thought the silver glitter paper wet well with this and helped tie it together along with the red and silver stars.

Have a great day!

On My Mind

Hello everyone!  Today I have a quick card for you that I made last night for the Unity Blog Hop.  This really was a pretty quick card to make.

I used the adorable Penguin Pals stamp set from Unity.  I really love this penguin with the glasses :)  To get the pink splatter, I covered up my penguin (learned from experience with that) and used a wet paintbrush with a bit of ink and tapped it from above so the water/ink landed on the card base.  I think I learned that from a Unity Quick Tip video :)

To finish it off, I added some sequins and fun Pink Licorice Trendy Twine

Have a great day!!
