Trendy Twine -- Celebrate Love

Hello everyone!  It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today. I've made a shaker card using the wonderful Krafty Red Trendy Twine.

To start, I die cut the heart onto the red card front.  Next, I glued my Krafty Red Trendy Twine around the heart. Then I stamped my sentiment on the bottom.  I used some red sequins, heart glitter and chunky glitter for my shaker pieces. The chunky glitter tends to stick to my plastic, but I still do like it.  I keep trying to powder the plastic in hopes this won't happen, but no luck yet.

After taping down my card front on top of the sequin mix, I added a twine bow, some small gold sequins, and I added some Wink of Stella clear to the sentiment.  You can't see it, but it does sparkle.

After I finished, I realized that I used the same pattern paper on this card that I did for my post at the beginning of the month -- guess I really like it :)

Elephant Birthday

Hi everyone!

I made a quick card today to enter into the My Favorite Things Weekly Sketch Challenge.  I really wanted to play along every week, but I've missed a bunch.

On this card, I used the MFT Adorable Elephants Stamps and Dies and MFT Blueprints 1 for the blue polka dot strip.  Also, I did flip my card base and switched up the side the focal point is on.

Here's the sketch...

Tune in Tuesday for a Trendy Twine post :)

Trendy Twine -- Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! A few of the Trendy Gals played with the three new planner stamp sets that were just released.  But as you can see below, they are not just for planners :)   These sets are adorable and I just had to use the cute donut and coffee cup images.

I decided to use the mini coffee cup and use the donut from the Perfect Pairs and sentiment from the You and Me Planner Sets to decorate it.  I made a coffee sleeve on my Cricut machine, stamped, and added some fun Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine and Raspberry Cupcake Sequins.

So then, I made a 3x3 card--I am liking that size--and stamped my donut and coffee (Perfect Pairs) and two sentiments that came from the We Go Together Planner Set.  These stamps are just so fun!  Then I added a bit of Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine and Raspberry Cupcake Sequins to this too.  I also used the XOXO stamp on the front of the 3x3 envelope.

I hope you head over to Annie's Paper Boutique and check out all the fun goodies!  And be sure to visit Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see the other projects.
Have a Happy Valentine's Day!

Trendy Twine -- Sweet on You

Hello everyone!  Can you believe it's February?  I sure can't!  February is a busy month for me with a few birthdays (one my husband's tomorrow) and Valentine's Day.  I do love Valentine's with all the red and pink.

Today, I am posting over at Twine it Up! with Trendy Twine.  I have a super quick treat box and 3x3 card to show you.  We are featuring the Krafty Red Trendy Twine and the Kraft Tags with Metal Rims this month.

The treat box is the 2 inch Kraft Box from Annie's Paper Boutique.  I cut out the card stock panels for each side slightly smaller than 2 inches.  Then I wrapped the Krafty Red Trendy Twine around the sides and tided it at the top, attaching my Kraft Tag that I stamped with my sentiment. The Love Arrow Woodies are also in the store and are so fun!  I attached it with Glossy Accents.

I decided to make a 3x3 card to go along with my treat.  I tied the Krafty Red Twine around my card stock before I glued it down.  Then I tied on my stamped tag to the front.  I used the same size tag that is on my box.  The paper was from a pack I picked up at Michale's this weekend and knew it would be perfect for my projects!  I love the tag on the card :)

I used a ton of fun goodies from Annie's Paper Boutique, so I do hope you check it all out and buy your Valentine goodies!
