Trendy Twine -- Happy Candy Boxes

Hello everyone.  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine. Today I have some super quick and easy treat boxes.  I used In the Navy Trendy Twine, Chocolate Boxes, and the Fun in the Sun Printable.

This are so easy to make!  I didn't start out with a project so simple, but I knew I wanted to use these fun printables.  Then I ended up with the clear Chocolate boxes and my In the Navy Twine.

The candy inside the boxes are Whopper candies.  You can get a box for a dollar at Walmart. It will fill three maybe four boxes with the $1 purchase--I'm not sure since I was eating them as I was filling the two I made :)

I just doubled up my In the Navy Trendy Twine and wrapped it around the box and added my tags.  Makes a super cute treat to pass out to friends.

I could have added some bling, but I do like to make some things pretty simple sometimes.  And the clear boxes are just so fun that I don't like to over decorate them.

Please keep Texas in your prayers. Annie's Paper Boutique is closed this week due to the flooding rains there.  Be sure to order when it's up and running again!

Trendy Twine -- Miss You!

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine. Today, I made a card for you using In the Navy Trendy Twine.  I have not used this twine enough and really look forward to playing with it all month long.

I used an anchor cut from my Cricut to start with.  It had a 'rope' cut out on top that I thought would be a perfect place to use my In the Navy Trendy Twine.  I glued down four rows onto the rope cut and used some clear Wink of Stellar on the anchor.

Then I found the perfect paper for this project--the anchor paper was even the right color!! I added a white base with a wavy die cut border so you could definitely see the pattern paper.  It needed something else so I also glued my In the Navy twine to the bottom of the border and added a bow.  To finish it off, I added clear gems for some sparkle.

Have a wonderful day!!
