Happy Halloween!

Hi everyone!  I just wanted to share one last Halloween card that I never got around to posting.

I used the Print then Cute Cuties Pumpkin Owl from KaDoodle Bug Designs, some My Creative Time dies and Totally Black Trendy Twine.  Oh, and those are homemade enamel dots :)

Hope you all have a great day!!

Trendy Twine Post Day with Halloween Goody Bag

Hi everyone! It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  Today I have a super quick treat bag that you can make for some last minute Halloween Treats.  I used the fabulous Spooktacular Trendy Twine on my project today

My daughter was disappointed that she wasn't going Trick or Treating this year (she is 15 so I don't feel too bad).  I said that we would get some Halloween candy at the store.  I decided to make a goody bag for her to make it more fun.

I used just cut a piece of cardstock to fit my bag, tied the twine around the top with a bow, added my Nerdy Ghost cutting file from SVG Cutting Files with a pop dot, and then the sentiment next to it.  So quick and easy!

For some reason, the mouth on the ghost cut separately on my Explore, so I just drew it in.  And she has nerdy teeth, but I didn't want to add them for my daughter.

This bag is not from the store, but there are plenty of fun bags and boxes over there, along with all that yummy twine, that will help you make lots of treats to give away.

The challenge this month is now over, but make sure to stop back next week to see what the next one is!

I am entering this treat bag into the SVG Cutting Files Blog Challenge -- Let's Make a Treat!

Have a fabulous day!!

Happy Owl-o-Ween!

Hi everyone! I have another Halloween card for you today.  I am just having the best time playing with the new Print then Cut files from KaDoodle Bug Designs.  They have several Halloween Owls that are just so cute!

This one was the first one I bought, then I went and bought about five more.  I made a witch owl that was on the Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine blog yesterday.  I will be showing the others in the next few days since I already print, cut, and assembled them.  They just need to go on a card or treat package :)

Print then Cut is so easy on my Cricut Explore machine.  I have not had this much fun crafting in a long time.

Supplies used:

  • Totally Black Trendy Twine
  • Print Then Cut Mummy Owl from KaDoodle Bug Designs--cut at 3 inches tall
  • My Creative Time Stitched Decorative Banner Die
  • My Pink Stamper Happiest Moments Stamp
  • Martha Stewart Crafts Halloween Mat Pad
  • Frosted Lace Stickles
  • Doodlebug Designs Sequins
  • Pop Dots (LOTS)
Have a fabulous day!

Trendy Twine Boo-tiful Treats Challenge

Hi everyone!  Today, we start back with the Trendy Twine Challenge and it's a fun month to get back in the groove :)  The challenge is Boo-tiful Treats--Halloween treat packaging with a tag and Trendy Twine.  And there are lots of fun Halloween Trendy Twine Twists to choose from.

The twine I used is Spooktacular Taffy, one of my favorite Halloween twists.  I used a 1 x 8 Clear Candy Tube and a 1 7/8 x 7 Medium Candy Bag since I only had one left of each (I love all the packaging that's in the store!).

The tags that I used are also from the store.  It's a set of 12 Halloween Tags that are printed for you and have a matching circle reinforcement already on them.  They are so fun!! I just inked the edges of the tag in a matching ink, glued on some spider sequins, and added my twine.  Fast, cute and easy treats!!

I really hope you join in the challenge this month!  Stop by Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see the challenge details and the rest of the design team's spooky treats, then be sure to go to Annie's Paper Boutique for all the goodies you'll need for Halloween :)

Have a fabulous day!
