Trendy Twine -- Thanks Snow Much!

Image
Hello!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  I've used Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine, the Let It Snow Stamp Set and a few Frosted Cranberry Sequins on my thank you card today.

I went with the Thanks Snow Much Sentiment from the Let It Snow Stamp Set.  There is absolutely no sign of snow down here in the south though, even though I would love it!  The mittens are cut from my Cricut. I decided to connect the mittens with my Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine by gluing it along the edge of the white and then tying a bow to join them.
I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the snowflakes on the mittens and finished it off with the Frosted Cranberry Sequins.
I hope you had a fabulous Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year!

Trendy Twine -- Love Joy Peace

Hello!  It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  I have a fun treat bag on the blog today using the Cotton Muslin Bags and some Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine.

I have to admit that I was very nervous about stamping on these bags.  I really did not know if it would actually work.  But I decided to give it a try.  I used some Winnie and Walter border stamps.  I inked up the words in blue MFT Hybrid ink.  It worked so well!  I can't wait to make some more of these!!  Before I stamped, I did a quick iron of the bag to make sure it was a flat surface.

After stamping, I decided to thread my twine through the bag for my ties.  There is already a bag pull on here, but I thought it would be fun to add the matching Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine.  I found a long plastic needle and started to go through while the other was still in there (in case this didn't work).  I did have to scrunch it up and just pull it through but it worked!  Next time, I woul…

Growing in Unity Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the Growing in Unity Blog Hop. We have all been Growing in Unity Gals this year. It was really fun week when I posted so I am very happy to participate in this hop!  You should have arrived from Teri Burson's blog. If not,be sure to check out the list below so you have a chance to win.

Today, I used the new Joy to Go kit for my card.  I stamped the cup and sentiment onto my card stock and used my Zig Clean Color Pens to color it in. I used an edge die from My Favorite things for the scalloped edges.

To finish it off, I added some Totally Red Trend Twine and some Holly Berry Sequins from Annie's Paper Boutique.  I used some foam tape to pop up the top two layers. This would be a fun card to put a coffee gift card in!

Your next stop is Tammy Murphy.
Here's the hop line up.  Be sure to comment on all the blogs for your change to win a Unity Prize Pack. There will be two winners announced on the Unity Blog on Wednesday.
