Fantabulous Cricut Challenge--Remember This

Hi everyone!  Today's Fantabulous Cricut Challenge is Remember This--Make something to remember someone, a special time, or an anniversaray.

I went with a Thinking of you card.  I was actually drawing a blank on this one:)  Here are the details:
  • Elegant Edges cartridge--cut at 3 1/4 inches including shadow cut
  • My Pink Stamper Spectacular Sayings Stamp set
  • Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page set
  • black and white polka dot ribbon
  • Zebra paper
  • black pen for dots
  • pop dots
  • black ink to ink edges
This was pretty easy to put together.  The picture is a bit blurry on one side--sorry about that, I don't know why.

I hope you all have a Fantabulous Memorial Day!!  Make sure to visit the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog to see all the designers fantabulous creations and to enter one for yourself!  Don't forget that you need to have a Cricut cut on there.

Thank You Card

Hi everyone!  Just a quick post of a Thank You card I made for a swap.  I used My Pink Stamper Spectacular Sayings set--one of the newest ones.  And the flower came from Cricut Essestials on the E2 machine.  We needed to use bling, which is never a problem for me :)  So I used my iRock and some stickles, of course!
I hope you have a wonderful Saturday!!

My Pink Stamper Design Team Day

Hi everyone!

Today is My Pink Stamper Day!! Today's project is for Father's Day or just a man card.  And we used the newest My Pink Stamper stamps--LOVE them all!

Men cards do not come easy to me.  I am much better with pink and bling :)  But here's what I came up with and the details will follow.
  • My Pink Stamper Spectacular Sayings Thinking of You stamp
  • Cricut cut at 3 inches from the Father's Day seasonal cartridge
  • Sizzix argyle folder
  • Twine from the Twinery
  • Signo white pen for accents
I like the way it turned out.  But I know I do so much better with girly cards :)

Now, I think I need to have a small giveaway since I haven't given anything away in while.  I was at Archivers yesterday and picked up a few extra things to giveaway.

Up for grabs is a Sew Easy tool, some really pretty Soiree twine and a bottle of my favorite stickles--Frosted Lace!

Just leave one comment and a way for me to reach you if you win. I'll draw a winner on Friday.  Now make sure to head over to My Pink Stamper and see all the wonderful projects from the design team!  You can also see where you can buy these amazing stamps.

Card Sketch

Hi everyone!!  Boy, it's been a busy week here and the weekend is just as busy.  My son has his confirmation tommorrow and on Monday his 8th grade Honors assembly.  I will probably cry--I just can't believe he's leaving 8th grade.

Today I have a card for you that I made from a Page Maps sketch.  Make sure to visit Fantabulous Cricut today for Scrappin' Saturday.  The design team made some cards and pages from these wonderful sketches.

Above is the sketch and below is the card I made and some details.

I used Elegant Edges for the green dotted background and Cricut American Alphabet for the butterfly and the swirl.  I don't remember the sizes, but I do know the butterfly was smaller than I thought it would be but went with it anyhow :)  The stamp is from My Pink Stamper Spectacular Sayings--a wonderful new set she just released!

I hope you have a great weekend!

Happy Happy Birthday

Hi everyone!  Here's the card I made for my daughter's birthday on Sunday.  It was such a busy weekend here and next weekend is just about the same.  The end of the school year keeps me hopping :)

I'm not sure about the cut sizes.  I made this so fast I didn't save the file or take notes.  I do know that I used My Pink Stamper Everyday Occasions for the stamp.  This is one of her older ones, but make sure to check out her blog for her newest releases--the are GREAT!!

The paper is from a girl DCWV and I added silver stickles to the heart cuts to match the paper.  I really wanted to use a peace sign but I don't own a cartidge that has one.  Guess I need to fix that :)  And to finish it off, I used twine from the Twinery.

Have a great day!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Me Monday

Hi everyone!  It's Challenge Me Monday over at Fantabulous Cricut.  Today's challenge is called Try this Angle--use a retangle and a triangle on your project.

I chose to make a scrabook page and used a sketch from Jana Eubank.  The polka dotted paper is my rectangle and my journaling is in the triangle :)

Here are the details:
  • Letters cut at 1 inch from Cricut American Alphabet
  • Dotted rectangle cut at 11 inches tall from Plantin Schoolbook
  • Triangle cut at 5 inches from Cake Basics
  • Leaves cut at 1 1/2 inches from Cricut Essentials
  • Pattern paper from DCWV Green Tea Stack
  • Blue ribbon
  • Signo White pen
I think it's hard to see in the picture but the letters are also cut out of pattern paper that matches the mats behind the pictures.

I hope you all take time to play along with the Fantabulous Challenge this week!!  Make sure to visit the blog and see all the designers fantabulous projects!!

Here are the guidelines:
Your blog has been deemed Cricut-tastic. Wear this badge proudly on your blog and share it with friends. Share this award with 10 people that you think have Cricut-tastic blogs. You also have to tell 5 cricut related things about yourself.

My 5 Cricut Things:
  1. I asked for my 1st Cricut for Christmas in 2008 and it was the baby bug.
  2. I've only had my Expression for a year and now have the E2.
  3. Right after I bought the Expression I bought my Gypsy.
  4. I use my Gypsy all the time!
  5. My favorite cartidge is usually the one most recently purchased to right now that would be the ones in my E2 :)
I am so bad at picking people for these awards!  I follow a ton of great blogs and just can't pick so feel free to grab this award because you are all Cricut-tastic!!

Have a great day!

Hello!

Hi everyone!  I made this card last night from the Everyday Pop Up Cards.  Joanns has cartridges for $29.99 this week!!  I really wanted Elegant Edges but they didn't have it or any of the new ones.  Luckily, my Michaels will price match and had this one.  So I'm still on the hunt for Elegant Edges :)

Here are the details:
  • Hot Air Balloon cut at 4 inches (I did not do a pop up on this card)
  • Hello! from My Pink Stamper new Spectaular Sayings set
  • Imaginisce Animal Crackers pattern paper
  • Brown ink (I edged the card and balloon)
  • Heat Set gems
  • orange ribbon
  • pop dots
Can you belive that I didn't use Stickles? -- LOL!  I just like the inked look and didn't feel the need to Stickle :)

Make sure to check out My Pink Stamper's retail page to see where you can buy her new stamps--I love them all!!

  • Flowers cut at 5 inches from Create a Critter

This was super easy to put together!  I added some green crinkle paper to the bottom of the box.  And here's a quick shot of the other side with more flowers :)
