Journey

Hello everyone!

Today, I have my 2014 goal/achievement book that I finally finished. I made one in 2012, and that was the year I started to get published.  Since it's the end of January and I haven't tried to send anything out yet, I think January will be blank :)

Here is everything I used to make the book:

I used my Bind It All to bind the book.  The covers are Bind It All and the wires are from Cinch.  Next up, is to fill the book with my dreams and goals--it will be a Journey!

Have a great day!

Snowflakes are kisses....

Hi everyone!  I think I might have my mojo back--LOL!  I have crafted everyday this week starting with Monday.  And I got to leave work a bit early yesterday so I was able to get a picture of this card I made on Tuesday.

Now, I know a lot of people have a ton of snow and are tired of it.  But I would really love a little bit here in the south.  Everything would shut down and I could have a whole day to craft! :)

Items used:

  • My Creative Time
    • Winter Flakes Dies
    • You're So Cool Stamp Set
    • Stitched Journal Die
  • Close to My Heart
    • Epoxy Bubbles
    • Pacifica Ink
I think the paper might be DCWV, but I got it out of my scrap pile so I'm not sure.  It does have glitter on some of the stripes which is a bit hard to see in the picture.

Hopefully, I will be posting more--I pulled several papers out that I might have a few ideas for.  And I think I will finish my goal book this weekend too :)

Have a great day!

Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone!  I haven't been doing the best at making things and posting them lately.  I started a goal book over my Christmas break, but haven't finished it.  I did make something for Valentine's day, but I'm saving it for closer to February :)

Today I do have a birthday card for someone at work.  Really, I should be making them all the time so I don't have to create at the last minute (or in reality, cards don't get made).

This card was super quick to put together.  It might need some bling, I do like the simpler look too.

Supplies used:

  • Nautical Trendy Twine
  • My Creative Time:
    • Star Stitched Dies
    • Stitched "Capture" Frame
    • It's All about You stamp set
  • Doodlebug Petite Patterns Paper
  • Cuttlebug Star Folder
  • Pacifica Close to My Heart Ink
  • Pop dots
This really did come together quickly for me, which doesn't always happen.  Hopefully, I can keep it up and post more.  Although, I may work on some publication calls next :)

Have a great day!!

A Cool Snowman

Hi everyone!  I thought I would pop in and post a tag I made for the Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine challenge this month.  I think I may have said this before, but I don't think of myself as a tag maker.  But I really love how this one turned out!

The challenge is to use a tag, snowman, snowflakes, and of course, Trendy Twine'

I used some Twisted Blue Berry Trendy Twine on my tage.  The scarf was cut out in the same blue of the tag, but I decided to glue the twine on to make it look like a really scarf.

The snowman came from the Cricut Smiley Cards Cartridge and was cut at 3 inches and the snowflakes were from the Paper Trimmings cartridge cut at 1 inch.  I still can't remember what cartridge the tag comes from--it's my favorite tag and I just saved it in my Gypsy.

I also added some stickles to the cheeks and fun sequins.   I hope you play along with me!!

Have a fabulous day!

Happy New Year!

Hi everyone!  I just popped in to say Happy New Year to you!  Here's a quick card I made.

I used Create a Critter 2 and the fabulous Grape Licorice Trendy Twine.

I'm hoping to actually blog more this year :)  I've been making a few things the past couple of days so will have some posts coming up.  One of them is another 'goal' book.  I made one in 2011 and that was the year I started getting published.  Last year I didn't have one and didn't progress much.  While I don't write down what I want to happen (since I'm not sure what that is), I will use the book to write down the good things that happen.  I will show it when it's all done :)

Have a great new year!!
