Trendy Twine -- Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! 

The Trendy Gals wanted to wish you a happy day.

I made a pretty simple card using the Happy Thanksgiving Stamp Set and the cute pumpkin from the Happy Fall Stamp Set. Then I used the Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine and the Autumn Sequins.  I wet a paintbrush and used some orange watercolor to fling some splashes on the card.

Trendy Twine -- Gobble then Wobble!

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  I can't believe it's Thanksgiving tomorrow!  I do love all the Thanksgiving food so this card is perfect for tomorrow :)

I used the fabulous Spiced Pumpkin Trendy Twine to line the outside of the top card layer.  I really like the look of it glued down for a border. The bow is on the bottom side where the twine meets.

I did pop dot the top layer, and add some of the Autumn Sequins from Annie's Paper Boutique. You know I love my sequins :)  The turkey and sentiment are from Unity Stamp Company, and I think the paper is from DCWV.  I colored the turkey with my Zig Clean Color markers.

Birthday Celebration for Janice!

Hello everyone!  Today is Janice's birthday--she is Lesley's mom.  

Happy Birthday Janice!!

The Trendy Gals and some of our guest designers made cards to send to her today.

I used some fun Totally Raspberry Trendy Twine on my card along with some Raspberry Cupcake sequins -- I do love to use sequins on my cards :)

The flower stamp is from Unity Stamp Company and colored with Zig Clean Colored Markers.  But the Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Smile Stamp Set you can find at Annie's Paper Boutique.

Happy Birthday Lesley!

Hello everyone!  The Trendy Gals are posting today for our leader's birthday!  Happy Birthday Lesley!!

We all made and sent her birthday cards.  I hope she opened them before now 😉 Lesley is a cat lover so I went with a cute card for her.  I just love this cat that I cut with my Cricut machine.

 

This cat came from the Create a Critter cartridge.  I always cut them bigger than I think they will be but I thought it was cute anyway.  I used the fabulous Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine along with Raspberry Cupcake Sequins from the store.

Growing in Unity Day 5

Hello! Well, today is my last day as the Growing in Unity Gal.  It's been so fun and I am very grateful that I had this opportunity -- thank you Unity Stamp Company!

Today, I inked up my new Owl I Want kit.  I think I own almost every owl stamp that Unity has ;) They are just so cute!

On this card, I used my Zig Clean Color Markers, Wink of Stella (again), The Paper Studio Christmas Basics, and some Holly Berry sequins from Annie's Paper Boutique. I did pop up the top layer which I cut out with a stitched rectangle die.  

I really do think that I have been getting better with my coloring and my Unity Stamps are the best one to practice with :)

Growing in Unity Day 4

Hello everyone!  Today is my Growing in Unity Day 4.  I can't believe this week is almost over.  I am having the best time coloring my Unity Stamps!

I was planning on making all fall and Christmas cards.  But today, I decided to go pink and use the Let Your Dreams Bloom kit.  And this is the very first time I have used Copic Markers!  I have just started to collect them and I am now in love :)

This card took a couple of turns.  It was actually my second coloring and this one was definitely better.  I used a circle die for the image and then stamped the sentiment on a banner die cut out.  

The doily is white but looks a little pink against the patterned paper.  I also added some Doodlebug Mini Pearls and some fun Totally Raspberry Trendy Twine. You might not be able to see it, but I used some clear Wink of Stella on parts of the flower (I really do like to use this a lot!).

Growing in Unity Day 3

Hello!  I'm here with Day 3 of my Growing in Unity week.  I have been having so much fun stamping and coloring my Unity Stamps.  I really do have quite the collection :)

Today's card uses another owl -- this time from the September Sentiment Kit called Bountiful Owl. 

I decided to color my owl gray. (I have used a lot of brown so far this week).  The die is from My Favorite Things and enamel dots are My Minds Eye.  I did use my Zig Clean Color makers and some Clear Wink of Stella throughout the card.

These cute owls just make me smile :) And this is just a fabulous sentiment kit!

Growing in Unity Day 2

Hello again! It's my Growing in Unity Day 2.  Today I have a fall card to share.  I used the Great Blessings stamp set.

This was a lot more coloring than I normally do but I decided to go for it.  I used my Zig Clean Color Markers and like how it turned out.

Other items used are:

• Coredinations pattern paper
• DCWV Burlap Mat Stack
• Totally Chocolate Trendy Twine
• Autumn Sequins -- Annie's Paper Boutique
• Wink of Stella Clear
• Glossy Accents

I used the glossy accents on the front and back windows.  It's hard to see, but the Wink of Stella is on the dots all around the stamp.
