My Pink Stamper Post Day -- Moo-ey Doodles

Hi everyone!  I know I haven't posted in a while--just haven't been creating.  I've had some family in town for over a week and it's creating has just not been happening :)

But, it's My Pink Stamper Post Day and I have some projects I made a few weeks ago to show you this week.  You can see the whole Design Team over on Robyn's blog with the projects we've been making with the adorable Moo-ey Doodles Kit.  I just love this stamp set!!

Here's a clipboard that I made from it.  The paper is not from the kit, but I thought that this pattern paper would be perfect for the cows.

I glued down the paper onto the small clipboard and the twine around the edges.  These cows did not need any coloring so I just stamped the on and cut out the one on the bottom.  This was very quick and easy to do (well the twine gluing took the longest).  I did not put anything on the back since I am hanging it on a wall.

Make sure to visit to see some cards later this week and don't forget to stop by My Pink Stamper to see all the fun projects!!

My Pink Stamper New Release Blog Hop!

Hi everyone!!  I am so excited that it's My Pink Stamper Blog Hop night!!  And I just LOVE this stamp set :)  I have had the best time playing with it and am so excited to show you my project!  If you have just come from the fabulous Julie you are on the right track.  But if you just happened upon my blog, be sure to start at My Pink Stamper so you don't miss out on any of the Moo-ey Doodles release details or the fun DT projects.

I decided to make a milk carton to show you tonight and stamp my cows on :)

Here are the details:

  • My Pink Stamper Moo-ey Doodles Kit
    • Stamps
    • Cardstock
    • Texas Chocolate Ink Pad
  • 100% Sweet from My Pink Stamper Sweet Goodness set
  • Promarkers from previous My Pink Stamper kits
  • Milk Carton cut from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 at 8 inches
  • Krazy for Kraft Trendy Twine
  • Pink heat set gems
  • Frosted Lace Stickles
I used the pro maker to color in the 100% Sweet stamp and stamp on the 'sign'.  You can use so many of the My Pink Stamper Stamps that you already own to go in there :)  Now, putting together the box was a bit confusing at 1st.  It shows 3 cuts and and I cut all 3.  But the book only shows gluing together 2 of them.  Well, I finally figured out that the 1st cut makes one box, and the next 2 make a box glued together but just bigger.  So this cut is just the 1st cut that you don't glue together and I think it is the perfect size.  You do glue the top closed so you either need to go ahead and fill it, or just load in from the bottom, since it just folds and tucks down there.  I haven't filled it yet but I think malted milk balls would be perfect to put in here!

Your next stop is the amazing Edna.  After you are done hopping make sure to go to Shop Pumpkin Spice to buy this fun kit (shown above)!!  Have fun and stay crafty :)

Make a Wish Card

Hi everyone!  It's back to reality for me today--have to go back to work :(  I really enjoyed my time off, even though we didn't go anywhere.  Just relaxed and actually bowled several times--my daughter is enjoying it since she is slowly improving :)

I did not craft much at all -- though I did make this birthday card for my mother-in-law.  And now I need to make another for my husbands grandmother for Thursday--she's going to be 94!

The details:

  • My Pink Stamper Birthday Doodles
    • Stamps
    • Green & blue Cardstock
    • Green & Blue Pro Markers
  • Blue Berry Trendy Twine
  • Charles Cuttlebug Folder
  • Gold Cardstock and Marker from My Pink Stamper Yankee Doodles
  • iRock Glam Rocks
  • Frosted Lace Stickles (on frosting swirls and flame)
This was super quick to put together which was great since I made it an hour before the party :)   Have a great week!

Happy 4th of July!

Hi everyone!  I'm posting over on Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine Today :)  Here's the card I made.

Details:
  • Berry Trendy Twine
  • I *heart* USA from Independence Day Cricut cartridge at 3 inches
  • Stars Cuttlebug folder
  • Classic Blue Bazzill Basics Cardstock
  • Real Red Stampin' Up! Cardstock
  • Signo White pen
  • Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive
  • pop dots
I used a small line of glue to stick the Berry Twine around the heart.  Oh and I cut 2 I *heart* USA's out since there is no layer option and just cut the heart on the red one to glue on.  Then I added some white touches with my Signo pen.

Make sure to visit Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to enter the challenge--you can't win if you don't try :)

Have a happy and safe 4th of July!

July Trendy Twine Challenge

Hi everyone!!  It's my 1st group post as part of the Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine Design Team today :)  For July, we are featuring Berry Trendy Twine--love it!!

The Challenge:

Create a project with red, white and blue (all three colors) and use coordinating Trendy Twine (only).
**No Trendy Twin yet?  That’s okay too.  Use embroidery thread or hemp instead.**
Deadline is Saturday, July 28th.  Project must be new for the challenge.  No backlinking.
Only one entry please.  Must include all items for the challenge.   (projects not qualified will be unlinked) Winner gets the Extreme Mini Pack and 50 yards of Berry Trendy Twine.

I decided to make a small gift bag.

Here are the details:
  • Berry Trendy Twine
  • Bag cut at 6 inches from Independence Day -- 3D projects
  • Stamp from My Pink Stamper Yankee Doodles
  • Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive
The bag comes from a Cricut Craft Room Exclusive.  I was not able to get it on my Gypsy yet so had to use Cricut Craft Room to cut this out.  I really prefer my Gypsy though, so hope I am able to sync it soon :)

Everyone was making really cute curly cues with their Twine, so I wanted to make mine curly for the bag.  I squeezed a bit of Scotch Quick-Dry between my fingers and ran them over the twine.  Then I curled it around a pen (that's what I had on my table) and let it dry.  I just LOVE how it looks!  I thread the Twine through the stars and also glued the outside edges down to keep it closed.

Make sure you head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see all the fabulous projects today and Tuesday and make sure to participate before the end of the month--it's an awesome prize!

Also, you have a chance to win a fun prize over at the Trendy Twine Facebook page.  Follow that link to get all the details.  This is open until July 4.

Have a great day!
