Growing in Unity Day 1

Hello everyone!  This week, you will see a post from me every day Monday through Friday.  I don't believe that has ever happened -- LOL!  The reason is because I am the Growing in Unity Gal this week. (Unity has 52 people post for a week through the year)  It's very exciting for me and could be for you too.

Unity Stamp Company has the most awesome red rubber stamps and always has great sales each week too.  I will be picking two names from all my posts this week and each person will win 25 random Unity Stamps!

Since today is Halloween, I decided to use this adorable owl and sentiment from the Happy Owl'oween set.  You will likely see several owls this week as I love and buy them all since my university's mascot is an owl.

I colored my owl with Zig Clean Color markers.  Additionally, I used Recollections paper and spiderweb diecut shape, and some fun Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine. The orange spiderweb is very shiny so it was hard to photograph.  This was an easy owl to color since he's in a ghost costume!
Finally, since today is also my birthday, I would like to give away an extra Unity Stamp set from my stash. I will draw a name from today's post and send the Maggie Girl Angie Girl Unity Stamp.  (this is from my own personal stash and not from Unity).

Please stop back every day so that you have a chance to win 25 stamps!!

Happy Halloween!!

Trendy Twine -- Halloween Shaker Witch

Hello everyone! I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine and I have a quick Halloween Shaker card to show you today.

I found some fun chunky glitter at Michael's about a month ago that matched this Grape Limeade Trendy Twine.  So I knew I wanted to make a shaker card.  The witch circle is from a Cricut cartridge. I just kept cutting it out until it was slightly bigger than the circle die I wanted to use for the shaker window.

I also used an edge die to cut off part of the card front.  It helps add some color from the background paper.  The stamp is from the fabulous Happy Halloween Stamp Set you can buy from the store.  I glued down the witch circle and then glued my Grape Limeade Trendy Twine around that and the bottom of my card front.

Along with the chunky glitter, I added some Grape Licorice Batty Sequins from the store.  I also used those same sequins on the front of the card.

Have a Happy Halloween!

APB Release Day 5 -- Let It Snow Stamp Set

Hello again!  I'm posting another sneak for the APB stamp release week.  And today is the day you can buy all the fun goodies at Annie's Paper Boutique at 6pm CST tonight.

Today, I have two projects with stamps from the new Let It Snow stamp set.

I just had to make an Olaf card using the Do you want to build a snowman? stamp. (sorry if that is stuck in your head now!)

Olaf is cut from my Cricut machine and did not cut out well smaller, so he is a big part of the card.  I did have room for some Chocolate Sprinkles Trendy Twine and a couple of snowflake sequins.  And I made sure to have room at the top for my sentiment.

Next I made a swirly snowflake card using the Thanks Snow Much stamp. I also used some Totally Navy Trendy Twine and some silver sequins.

There's one more post at noon today over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine before the release tonight!  Don't miss out :)

APB Release Day 2 -- Frosted Cranberry Sequins

Hello everyone and welcome to Annie's Paper Boutique Release Week!  We have a lot of fun things to show you this week over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine. All new products will be available over at Annie's Paper Boutique this Friday at 6pm CST.

I made two projects today featuring the new Frosted Cranberry Sequins. I also used the new chipboard Mini Tag Album.  It comes with 8 chipboard tags along with a ring.  I ended up just using three pages to show you here.

For the mini album, I used some red and blue card stock then some cute red/blue Christmas paper I found at Hobby Lobby.  These were perfect colors to use my Frosted Cranberry Sequins on.  I also used some stamps from the new This is December stamp set releasing on Friday.

I also made a shaker card.  I feel like I am getting a bit better at these :)  Along with the Frosted Cranberry sequins, I used the matching Frosted Cranberry Trendy Twine, a stamp from the new Merry Christmas stamp set, My Favorite Things dies for the card front, and the same red/blue Christmas paper from my mini album.

Be sure to come back all week to see all the sneak peeks!!  There is a lot to see and you will not be disappointed.

Trendy Twine -- Ghostly Sweet Treats

Hi there!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  Today, I have some sweet treats to share with you using the Purple Chevron Treat Bags, Grape Limeade Trendy Twine, and a stamp from the Happy Halloween stamp set. Oh and I did use the Lime Grapesicle Seals on the back of the bag :)

First, I put two snack size Hershey Bars in my Purple Chevron Treat Bag. Note, these are my weakness and the only ones left are in the bags :) I then put a Lime Grapsicle Seal on the back since I wasn't sure how I was going to finish this off.

Next, I cut this cute band out with my Cricut Machine.  It came with the ghost on it.  I scored  where I wanted to bend, but with three layers, this was a bit tough.  It still looks good though. Then, I glued my Lime Grapesicle Twine around the circle and made a small bow for where the twine met.

It still needed something so I punch two holes at the top to wrap my twine through, added a die cut tag with the sentiment from Happy Halloween stamped on it, and tied it off into a bow.  I don't think I got the holes in the middle, even though I got a ruler out and tried :)

These will make a cute little treat for work if I don't open them up and eat the candy -- LOL!

Happy Thanksgiving Stamp Release

Hello everyone and welcome to the Happy Thanksgiving Stamp Release!

There is another fun new stamp set available today over at Annie's Paper Boutique.

I made a card using the Thanksgiving Blessings stamp.  I love how there are fun, different fonts for all the sentiments!

The turkey is cut from the Celebrate with a Flourish Cricut Cartridge.  I think the swirls on the turkey go well with the font from the stamp I choose.

I added Clear Wink of Stella to the swirls on the turkey and you can really see it her.  And I finished it off with some orange self-stick gems.

It's a pretty simple card, but you could make a bunch and not take a lot of time.

Be sure to head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see all the other creations by the design team.  Stop by and let them know how awesome they are!
