Trendy Twine Day--Hello There!

Hi everyone!  It's the last day of May and I am so happy about that.  It has been a really busy month and I am really hoping things slow down a bit now and I can craft a lot more! Did you see the sneak peak of the new twine color that was posted on Facebook yesterday?  If not, visit the Trendy Twine Facebook page to take a peek :)

It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  You can see more pictures of my project over there.

So the challenge is over this month, but I can still show you Tickled with Teal Trendy Twine, one of the awesome twines we have been showcasing this month.  Be sure to head over to the STORE to purchase your favorites :)

This is a small treat box I made for you today.

I also used The Alley Way Stamps Petal Pushers stamp set on this cute little box.  The box and lid is 6 inches high cut from the Sweet Tooth Boxes Cricut cartridge.  I carefully glued the twine around the lid and finished it off with some Frosted Lace Stickles.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone!  It feels like forever since I really have crafted--May is a very busy month in my house, but I was able to make a quick gift card holder last night.  It's my co-workers birthday today and she somehow always finds the time to do something for everyone if it's there birthday or Christmas, so the least I could do was make her this and add a gift card :)

I am currently obsessed with My Creative Time's products, especially Emma's dies.  And I had to finish it off with my favorite addition--Trendy Twine :)

This is an entry for the Ribbon Carousel Celebrations Challenge.

Products used:
  • Trendy Twine Sky
  • My Creative Time
    • Embossed Gift Card Holder
    • Flower Petal Dies
    • It's All About You Stamp Set
  • My Little Shoebox Enchanted Garden Magnificent Paper
  • Recollections self-stick pearl
  • pop dots
I used pop dots between the layers of the flowers for the 3-D effect.  And I just needed to add something else and the twine was perfect for the top!

Now, this project does not fit the Trendy Twine Challenge this month, but be sure to check it out at this LINK and play along.  The design team really loves to see all the projects entered :)

Have a fabulous day!

Happy Mother's Day

Hello everyone and Happy Mother's Day!

I have a quick post for you with some Mother's Day Treat Holders and some fabulous new Trendy Twine.

I used the brand new Totally White Trendy Twine on my tubes.  I love it!!  The colors on my paper were so varied that I didn't know what color to use, so the white was just perfect!  The paper is from the Close to My Heart special they have this month.

Be sure to visit Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see all the Mother's Day wishes.

Have a fabulous day!!  If you have some free crafty time today, you should join in our Challenge this month :)

Hello There!

Hi there!  Here's another Trendy Twine Twisted Gumball/The Alley Way Stamps card.  This was the first one I made but it's not what I wanted it to be.

I colored directly on the kraft paper and I think that is what threw me off.  The color changes as it dries which was actually a good thing.  But I love a more vivid pink and the kraft mutes it.

All stamps are from the Petal Pushers TAWS stamp set and I did like the look of the Twisted Gumball Trendy Twine down the vine.  I glued it on instead of wrapping it around so it would stay right where I wanted it.  Then I added just a touch of Frosted Lace Stickles all over the small stamped images.

Trendy Twine and The Alley Way Stamps

Hi everyone!  Trendy Twine has teamed up with The Alley Way Stamps today!  I got to play with some fun stamps and new twine!!!  Today, Twisted Gumball is being released--it's so pretty!!  And I used The Alley Way Stamps Petal Pushers.

So here's my project for today.  We used our new fabulous Twisted Gumball Twine, The Alleyway Stamps and Kraft.  This is actually my second card--I had used the kraft paper on the top of my other one and I just wasn't feeling great about it.  I will probably still post it tomorrow though :)

I stamped the large flowers on the card and then 2 more to cut out.  I used pop dots to give it some dimension.   The leaves were only stamped once and cut out, then I used another pop dot on them that was not as tall.

You can see the dimension with this picture. And you can see that I added some Frosted Lace Stickles in the flower centers and on the leaves.

Now you can head over to the store and purchase this fun new twist HERE.  And be sure to visit Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see all the other fabulous creations and check out all the fun stamps over at The Alley Way Stamps--they just released some really cute ones :)
