A Starry Birthday

Hello everyone!  I have not been good about making cards for family the last few months, but my daughter's BFF's birthday is today and I managed to make her one.  Of course, she is like a daughter to me and calls me mom, so I guess it is for family :)

It also happens to fit in the My Creative Time Designer's Challenge set by Miss Emma herself.  She picked a challenge that is perfect for me--Bling it Up!  I do love to add something sparkly pretty much all the time :)

I originally was using some animal print paper, but then I needed to add some bling.  I really wanted to use these stars that I picked up at Hobby Lobby, so I was going through my paper stash and found this purple star paper--perfect!  I wished I used the It's all about you stamp after that, but this does work too.  I don't know if you can tell, but I pop dotted the frame up since I just used the same paper on the stamped part and frame.

My daughter said it was very purple, but I really like this one!  I think her BFF will too :)  Have a great weekend if I don't post before then!!

Hello everyone! It's my turn to post over at Twine it Up! with Trendy Twine today.

Just a quick card with some fabulous Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine on it :)  I love this twine (but then again, I think I love it all!)

I was asked to do a card demo in July and my mother-in-law took some of my cards to show the ladies.  One of them asked that I make 12 cards for her to send to a troop for the June package she is sending. I spent an entire Saturday trying to come up with something and this is what I ended up with.  Sorry the picture is not exactly the best.  It was cloudy and now the cards are on their way.

I was looking through my blog reader last night and came across My Creative Time's Designer Challenge and had the urge to create!
