My Pink Stamper February Design Team Day

Hi everyone!  It's My Pink Stamper Design Team Day--Yay!  I just love to see what everyone creates.  Today's challenge is to use as many stamps as you can.  So I decided to make a notebook using Hello Kitty.

I am loving the Hello Kitty cartridge lately :)  This was cut at 5 inches and the mat underneath is from Elegant Edges at 5 1/2 inches.   I used My Pink Stamper Simply Sweet Occasions stamps on the cover:  the 3 hearts all over and the smile in the top left (you might need to click on the picture to see it better.

I then stamped on the pages inside and used the following My Pink Stamper sets:
  • Everyday Life
  • Pink-alicious
  • Spectacular Sayings
  • Punnylicious
  • Fruit and Veggie Puns
  • Hope and Courage
  • Family and Friends
Here's a really quick video I filmed last night to show you all the inside (and the fun paper pack!) pages.  I thought this was better than taking a picture of each page!

The cover paper is from The Paper Studio Uptown Flair Stack--it's so pretty!!  But I forgot to put paper on the inside cover page, so it's just the brown chipboard.  I think I might have to make some more Hello Kitty cuts to cover that.  I also used Twine from The Twinery and my Signo pen to do some hand stitching along the edge of the Elegant Edges cut.

I used my Bind it All to finish it off.  This is my second book that I've made and I really love making them!!  Now, make sure to visit My Pink Stamper to see all the Design Team's amazing projects!

Winner!

Hi everyone!  Just a quick post to announce the winner of the My Pink Stamper Birthday Crazy set from the Blog Hop Friday night.

Random.org picked number 24:
I like the shape of this card. Is this a cricut cut-out? I also love the glitter paper. I love to make things sparkle! Thanks so much for the inspiration (and for the chance to win a great stamp set):)

Congrats!  Please email me (I have a contact me button on the right) and I'll get these out to you this weekend.  Oh and it was a Cricut cut from Wild Card.

Thanks to everyone for the sweet comments you leave.  I really appreciate you all!!  I hope to have a project for tomorrow, since I have a box full of goodies to play with :)

Candy Treats with Video

Hello everyone!

Happy Valentine's Day!  Today I have a video for you--only my 2nd and I still have so much to learn (this is way out of my comfort zone).  One thing to learn is a better way to have my camera behind me so that everything is not too close up!   I just wanted to do this short video to help with assembly of the candy boxes on Victorian Romance.  They seem tricky at 1st, but once you put one together, it makes so much more sense!  The thing that takes the longest is the scoring, but I did not show that part.  I just put together one end for you to give you the idea.  And I think that even though there are hearts, on the ends, you can use them for other things than just Valentine's Day.

Here are the details and a completed picture of 3 boxes I made:
  • Victorian Romance Candy box cut at 5 1/2 inches
  • Plantin Schoolbook Circles cut at 1 and 1 1/4 inches
  • My Pink Stamper From the Heart Set
  • Little Yellow Bicycle Candy Hears on Pink with Foil Cardstock
  • Blossom Twine from The Twinery
  • For Blue box--ki memories Heartbeat Infatuation Cardstock

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I really do appreciate everyone who visits :)

Love You!

Hi everyone!  I hope you had a great weekend!  I have a last minute Valentine card for you today. My video on the candy boxes will have to wait until tomorrow--still trying to have the time to upload it.

Here are the details:
  • Birds cut from Celebrate with a Flourish at 3 inches
  • Mat cut from Elegant Edges at 3.75 inches x 5 inches
  • My Pink Stamper Love-alicious stamp
  • Bazzill Paper--pinks and pink glitter
  • Organza Ribbon
  • Heat set gems
  • Flamingo Pink Aqua Marker
  • Pop dots
  • Corner Chomper
I still have to learn how to use my markers.  Hopefully, I can find a good video and get some tips :)

Have a great day!  And don't forget, I will announce a winner of the My Pink Stamper stamps on Wednesday.

Sock Cupcakes

Hi everyone!  Hope you are having a fabulous weekend :)  It's actually been cold here--and very windy.  But we haven't had much cold weather in GA this year so no complaining!  I stayed in on Saturday and made a few things since I didn't want to get blown over--LOL!

Here are some sock cupcakes I made for my daughter and her friends.  I have always wanted to make these and just never did until yesterday.

And the details:
  • Cupcake Wrappers cartridge cut at 2 3/4 inches
  • Victorian Romance heart tag cut at 2 inches
  • My Pink Stamper Happiest Moments stamp
  • Bazzill Glitter Paper (Pink and Purple)
  • White Cardstock
  • Pink and purple organdy ribbon
These are so fun!!  I used the hearts that cut out of the cupcake wrapper as 'sprinkles' on the cupcakes. The socks came from Michaels and were $2.  I am going to hunt for some more good deals on them and make these for Christmas gifts for coworkers this year.  The Cupcake Wrapper cartridge has so many choices for any holiday or occasion, that I can't wait to make more!

I hope to have a quick video up for you tomorrow.  Only my second one and it just shows how to put together the candy box from Victorian Romance.  They seem a bit confusing at 1st so I thought a video would be a good idea :)

You can still leave a comment on Friday's Pinkalicious Blog Hop post for your chance to win a My Pink Stamper stamp set from me.  I'll leave it open until Tuesday night and announce the winner on Wednesday!

Pinkalicious Blog Hop!

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the My Pink Stamper Pinkalicious February Blog Hop!  Fridays are even more fun when you can hop.  If you have just come from the fabulous Cristi you are on track.  If you haven't make sure to start at Robyn, My Pink Stamper, so you do not miss a thing!

Today's challenge is to use the color red, a circle, pink ribbon and more than one My Pink Stamper stamp.  I have to say that this was a challenge for me.  I was making a treat box, but the picture didn't show the red on the pattern paper very well.  So I ended up making a circle card.  Not my best work though!

Here are the details:
  • My Pink Stamper From the Heart Set: Hugs, Kisses, Happy Valentines Day, Big & Small heart
  • Wild Card--base and circle cut at 5 1/2 inches; Oval cut at 5 inches
  • Bazzill Bassics red and pink glitter paper
  • Pink Organza ribbon
  • red ink
  • pop dots
I stamped hugs, heart, kisses in red ink onto the red card base. It's a bit hard to see in a picture but I think you can see a bit of it. I arranged the 3 stamps onto a block and stamped at once.  This is so easy to do with all of Robyn's stamps :)

Your next stop on the Hop is the wonderful June.  After you visit everyone, make sure to head back to Robyn's blog and play along!

I do have a My Pink Stamper stamp set to giveaway today!  Leave one comment for your chance to win Robyn's Birthday Crazy set.  The last time we had a hop, there were blogger comment problems if you were using Internet Explorer.  So if you find you are having trouble leaving a comment today, try Firefox (I switched to that myself) or Google Chrome.

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Here's the whole hop list in order in case you get lost along the way.

Piggy Love

Hi everyone!  I have been trying to make something all week, but haven't had the chance until last night.  Wednesday night I was at my table and had my Gypsy on, but my dog kept whining at me--she wanted to be in my lap!  So I caved--she's too cute :)

This is just a small 3 x 3 card I made for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge this week.  And I thought I would never get it done since my son kept asking me how to do things in Word--LOL!

Here are the details:
  • Pig from Create A Critter cut at 2 3/4 inche
  • Top mat from Elegant Edges cut at 3 inches
  • My Pink Stamper Love-alicious stamp
  • Core' dinations Cardstock: dark pink; Glitter pink
  • Bazzill Basics: Petunia; black
  • Blossom Twine from The Twinery
  • Glam Pink Stickles
  • Pop Dots
I really love the Create a Critter cartridge and should use it more.  And I planned on using a punny stamp when I picked out the pig (Hogs & Kisses) but you can't fit much on a 3x3 card :)

Oh--I almost forgot!  I just got in some Aqua Markers by the same people who make Pro Markers yesterday and used a pink one to add some color to the edges of the card and piggie.  I have to practice some more, so will go into more details another day.  But I am excited to add something to my creations!

Have a fabulous day everyone!
