Sending Warm Wishes

Hello!

Here's another Unity card I made this past weekend. It's an owl stamp and I have more to ink up this weekend :)

This set is called Owl Bundle Up and he is just too cute!  I really need to make a few more and send them to my family in PA who got a ton of snow last weekend  :)

I used my Zig Clean Color Markers to color  and some Glossy Accents on the white of his eyes again. I do like how it looks.  You probably cannot tell, but I also used silver Wink of Stella on the snow flakes and the snowflake on his sweater.

To finish it off, I used some snowflake sequins and some sequins from the Frosty Sequins Mix from Annie's Paper Boutique.

Have a great day!

Trendy Twine -- Water Bottle Love

Hello all!  It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  Today, I made a quick decorated small water bottle using Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine and the fun Happy Valentine's Day Printable from Annie's Paper Boutique.

After I cut out the tag, I decided to glue my Raspberry Cupcake twine around the oval because I can't cute straight!  Plus, I do like the way it looks ;)  I then stamped my Happy Valentine's Day sentiment on the tag in pink and added some pink sequins.  These are not the Raspberry Cupcake Sequin Mix you can get from the store.  I need to get those still :)

I was having trouble picking a pink paper to wrap the bottle in so I just went with white.  It was a bit plain though, so I glued my Raspberry Cupcake twine around the bottom of the wrap and then cut out and pop dotted two of the round hearts from the same printable sheet on the sides.  I was able to use a circle punch on these (remember, I can't cut straight and definitely not in a circle!) and only lost a tiny bit of the pink outer circle that was printed.

These printable sheets are so fun and can help you dress up your Valentine's this year!  Don't forget to get your twine and sequins while you are shopping over at Annie's Paper Boutique :)

Thought of You

Hello everyone!  I have made a few cards this weekend and this one if for the My Favorite Things  Sketch Challenge 264.  I  went pretty simple with this one but I do like a clean card sometimes :)

My Favorite Things items used:

  • Essential Sentiments
I added some dimensional squares to the flowers and self-stick gems for the flower centers and around the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Love You This Much

Hi everyone!  We got a small amount of snow here in GA so it was a good excuse not to go anywhere and play in my craft room.

I just got a few Unity Stamps in the mail yesterday so it was perfect timing!  I couldn't wait to ink up this cute owl and thought I would make another entry into the Unity Be Inspired Challenge using red and pink.

This stamp set is called Love you this much and has the owl stamps and four sentiments you can choose from.  I have also been inspired by Heather Hoffman from the Unity Design team and so I used a part of a doily on my card.   I have seen her do that on one of the Quick Tip Videos she did for Unity.  These videos are great and give me lots of ideas :)

I used my Zig Clean Color Markers to color and some Glossy Accents for the Owls eye area (hopefully you can see that in the above pic). I think I saw that on Angeline Choo's Unity Quick Tip Video :)

Happy Valentine's Day

Hi again!  Can't believe I'm posting two days in a row--it's nice to have a long weekend and some craft time.

This card is for the Unity Be Inspired Challenge.  This month, it's a pink and red theme.  I used the Unity Love is Grand December Sentiment Kit.

To finish off the card, I decided to try to add some glitter around the edges of the top layer.   I saw a quick tip video by  Heather Hoffman showing this.  I think I do like how it looks, but maybe need to work on how thick the glossy accents go on.

Have a great day!

You're the Coolest!

Hello everyone!  I've had a slow start to the new year with crafting since I have been sick--darn sinus infection really has brought me down.  I'm finally starting to have more energy and had today off, so I am trying to enter some challenges.

I made this card for the the MFT Wednesday Sketch 263 Challenge.  Here are the supplies used:

  • MFT Toasty Greetings Stamps and Dies
  • MFT Die-Namics Blueprints 12  (top banner)
  • MFT Stitched Rectangle Stax (blue rectangle)
  • Annie's Paper Boutique Frosty Sequin Mix
  • Tim Holtz Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink
  • Zig Clean Color Markers
  • Pop dots
Well, I am off to make something pink and red now :)  Have a great day!

Trendy Twine -- The Coolest Birthday

Hello everyone! Today I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  I hope you have had a great start to the new year. Today, I have a quick card using the fabulous Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine.   I love to use pink!

The stamps are from Unity Stamp Company called Coolest Birthday Penguin and I used my Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine as the string on the penguin's balloon.  Then, I wanted to use more on my card, but not in the usual way.  So I decided to make it look like a banner at the top.  I finished it off with some pink sequins I had in my stash.

I hope you keep checking back this month.  We have a new Raspberry Cupcake Sequin Mix coming out soon and the whole month is featuring pink, what could be better!  Be sure to check out Annie's Paper Boutique for all your pink needs :)

Have a great day!
