Trendy Twine Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

The Trendy Gals wanted to share some Christmas creations with you!

These were my Christmas cards this year.  I started them two weeks ago when my power was out all day.  I usually don't make stamped cards that I have to color.  It takes me too long.  I'll need to make some New Years cards to send out to the people I missed 😉

I used Candy Cane Trendy Twine (which is unfortunately sold out right now) because it is one of my very favorite twists.

The stamps are Believe in the Magic Sentiment Kit from Unity Stamp Company.

I colored the stamps in with my Zig Clean Color Markers and some gold and silver glitter pens for the ornament tops.  Then I added red self stick gems on the green pattern paper cards and green self stick peals on the red pattern paper cards.

I do hope you have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy the day!

Trendy Twine -- Merry & Bright

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  Can you believe that Christmas is in four days?  I'm not ready LOL!

Today I made a quick Christmas Card.  I used Berry Trendy Twine, the Merry & Bright stamp set and some Candy Cane sequins.

This card went together pretty quickly.  I die cut the oval and the image is a print then cut from my Cricut.  I glued my Berry Trendy Twine around the oval and tied a pretty bow for the top.

Then I stamped the sentiment from the Merry & Bright Stamp Set at the top in red, pop dotted my penguin on the card and added some Candy Cane sequins.

Have a fabulous day!

Trendy Twine -- Merry Christmas Treats

Hello everyone!  It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine

I cannot believe it's almost Christmas!  I have so much still to do.

Today, I have a project using the Mini Candy Cubes, Berry Trendy Twine, the Merry Christmas Stamp set, and some sequins from the Christmas Shaker Medley.

I added red and green M&M's to my Mini Candy Cubes.  Then, I cut out this label using a die and stamped the Christmas Blessings sentiment from the Merry Christmas Stamp set.

I punched a hole at the top and threaded my Berry Trendy Twine through it and around the box and tied it off with a bow. Then I just added a few sequins from the Christmas Shaker Medley to the tag.  I love the tree sequins in the mix!

This is a super fast and easy project and would be perfect to add by the place settings for Christmas dinner.

Have a great day!

Trendy Twine -- Give Thanks

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  I know we are all thinking about Christmas right now, but I'm posting one last fall project today using the Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine along with the Autumn Sequin Mix and the Chocolate Truffle Sequins.

I made this banner with a file that was shared in a Cricut Group.  It was just so fun and I knew my Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine would look great with the paper I picked out.

I added Clear Spectrum Noir Glitter Pen to all the letters and the leaf.  You can see that much better in person as it's hard to photograph a banner 😃 Then I added some Autumn Sequins along with brown sequins from the Chocolate Truffle Mix to the panel.  I didn't want to over do those.

Lastly, I tied little Creamy Pumpkin Bows to put on all the banners--two per banner.  Then I laid it out on the floor, doubled up my twine, and glued all the top tabs around the twine to secure it.  It's pretty sturdy!

This folds up nicely to store for next year!

Have a great day!

Trendy Twine -- Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving!  I can't believe it this time already.  There's not much time before Christmas and there's always so much to do.

The Trendy Gals made some fun projects for your today.  I made some take home treats for those coming over to my house today.  I host Thanksgiving and will be looking forward to a nap later 😉

I used the Skinny Candy Chutes and filled them withe the Fall M&M's mix. Then I made the tag on my Cricut machine.  I picked a font and had the machine write the Happy Thanksgiving on there.  It fun and I should do that more often!

The tag needed something else so I stamped the cute acorn from the Hello Fall Stamp set.  I colored it in, fussy cut it out and pop dotted it onto the tag. Then I added a few Chocolate Truffle Sequins.

I wrapped my Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine around the top of the candy chute a few times an tied a bow.  I did add a glue dot to help hold the tag in place.

Be sure to head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see all the other fun projects.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Trendy Twine -- Happy Birthday Lesley!

Hello everyone!  Tomorrow is Lesley Ann's birthday--she is the fabulous lady in charge of Trendy Twine and Annie's Paper Boutique.  Happy Birthday Lesley!!

The design team and a few guests made cards for Lesley and they are all posted over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  Mine will be there after she sees this :)

I am loving llama lately and made it a theme for the package I sent. This llama is from my Cricut.  I flattened the image and turned it into a print then cut.  That is so fun to do :) I added some Clear Wink of Stella to some of the spots on the die cut.

Next, I used an oval die to make my top layer.  I stamped the sentiment from Smile Stamp set and then glued my Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine around the over and added a bow.  Then I added a few Raspberry Cupcake Sequins too.

I hope Lesley enjoys all the fun today and has a very Happy Birthday!!

Trendy Twine -- Hello Coffee

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine and today's project is a decorated coffee cup. We have some fun new Kraft Cup Sleeves in the store to play with!

To start, I used one of the cute leaf stamps from the Hello Fall Stamp Set and stamped it all over the Kraft Cup Sleeve.  Then, I slipped it onto the cup and wrapped my Creamy Pumpkin Trendy Twine around it a few times. I decided to slip in a Wooden Spoon so I tied if off to that to hold it in place.

Since I was using a Mango (Light Orange) Tag-it, I decided to add it to the top of the spoon and add my bow of twine there.  I did pop tape the tag to the spoon to help hold it in place.

The Tag-It has a Trendy Page Dot on it and the sentiment is from the Smile Stamp Set and I added a leaf to that cut from my Cricut. To finish it off, I added a few Autumn Sequins.

This is a reusable cup so will make a cute gift!

Annie's Paper Boutique Cup of Holiday Cheer

Hello everyone!  Today we are showcasing the fabulous little Mini Cups that are back in stock in the store.  They are so fun!

I made a mini coffee sleeve from a file I had in my Cricut software.  I used some fun red foil striped paper that went great with my Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine. This is a pretty easy and quick gift :)

The stamp is from the Merry Christmas Stamp Set.  I just added one Peppermint Stick Sequin to each circle--I didn't want to add too much.  Then I wrapped my Peppermint Stick Trendy Twine around the lid rim and tied a bow.

Make sure to head over to Twine it Up! with Trendy Twine to see all the fun cups the DT made!  And be sure to head to Annie's Paper Boutique for all these fun goodies plus more :)

Trendy Twine and Sequins

Hello everyone! There are four new sequin mixes that just released today over at Annie's Paper Boutique and are featured on Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine. The Trendy Gals are each featuring a different mix and I'm here to showcase Blue Berry Sequins. The sequins all have a coordinating Trendy Twine and mine is, of course, Blue Berry 😃

I made a snowflake shaker card.  The Blue Berry Sequins and Blue Berry Trendy Twine were perfect for a winter themed card. The snowflakes were cut using my Cricut.  I picked out one snowflake and arranged it in different sizes on the card front.

I used foam tape cut in small strips to section off the snowflakes.  I poured sequins in each snowflake and carefully turned it over to keep them in the right place.  The front also was cut with a border die so you could see the pattern paper on the bottom.

The stamp is from the Let It Snow Christmas Stamp Set.  It was perfect for this card.  Then I added my Twine and some extra sequins to finish it off.

All the new sequins are so beautiful! Be sure to head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see all the fabulous projects the design team made and all the beautiful new sequins.  And then visit Annie's Paper Boutique to pick some of them up 😄

Have a Happy Halloween!!

Trendy Twine -- Batty For You

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  It's finally a bit cooler here in Georgia and it's almost Halloween!  What a fun time of year.

Today, I made a shaker card using my Lime Licorice Trendy Twine along with the Lime Licorice Batty Sequins and the Happy Halloween Stamp set

I used a circle die to cut out the center of my pattern paper and my Cricut to cut out the black back circle.  That cut is for pumpkin carving but it's perfect for a cover for the shaker card 😃

I glued my Lime Licorice Trendy Twine around the outside of the circle, added a bow and sparkled up the bats.  Then I found a small tag die to stamp my sentiment on from Happy Halloween.  I used the Lime Licorice Batty Sequins for my shaker mix along with some small and bigger glitter to match the sequins.  And I added two bats to the front label which I did use small pop dots on.
