Playing with Serenade by Flowerdisco and Friends Week 2

It's week two for the Serenade Series! This week I have image #11, one of the butterflies. I was going to try to make a shaped card, but it didn't really work very well for me. I'll have to try again when I have more time. This turned out to be a very pink card! I could have used this for My Pink Stamper's post yesterday--LOL!

Here are the details:
  • Butterfly cut at 3 inches
  • I used two differnt shades of Bo Bunny's Back to Basics dot paper
  • Frosted Lace Stickles on the swirly layer
  • i Rock hot rocks
  • pink ribbon
  • Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder
  • My Pink Stamper Buggy Punnies stamp

Here's close up of the butterfly. You can see that I used dimensional tape to pop it up and let the edges curl a bit. This really does look so much better in person.

Make sure to visit everyone else's blogs to see there projects for the week!

Don't forget to enter to win a My Pink Stamper stamp set! Just leave a comment on Tuesday's post.

  3. helen, gorgeous monochromatic colors. I know you said too pink but I call it heavenly pink. Your butterfly is very, very pretty and I love how you used the dimensional tape behind it.

Hugs and again I am glad you are doing the series with us.
