Baby Shower

Hi everyone!  My sister-in-law just adopted a baby girl which makes me an Aunt!!  I am so excited :)  She found out very last minute though she was already here when we were able to have a shower for her.  So I had about a week to make some things.

I love to make diaper cakes and this time, I found a new way to make it.  Instead of rolling the diapers, you put line them up in a cake pan.  It was perfect and way quicker and easier.  I really put this together in about 30 minutes.  This is also the 1st time I didn't use any cut outs on one.  I bought the washcloths from her registry to fan out on the cake and a cute giraffe teether (she has a girl jungle theme) for the top.

Next, I love to give out favors.  So I made 26 My Creative Time Treat Slider boxes.  Now, this seemed like a really great idea until it came to die cutting all the candy wraps.  But I really wanted to make them properly so I somehow managed to get them all done.  The assemble very quickly and then I decided to use the small ticket die for my stamped message.  And to finish it off, I used my Tickled Pink Trendy Twine.

I just love those candy boxes! But now I need some new Cuttlebug plates as mine are pretty worn out :)
