Friends Fur-ever Card

Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a good week so far. Not long till the weekend--Yay!

Another card today. I used Paisely again--just love this cart :-) I cut the dog at 4 1/2 inches. I'm not sure if I got all the layers right, this one was a little confusing. The hula hoop didn't cover the whole bottom layer--I'm not sure why. But I just made it meet in the middle and it popped it out and gave it a 3D effect which I like anyway! The patterned paper (isn't it fun?!) came from My Paper Studio Safari Untamed. I added some white accents to the dog's paws and of course some Stickles (Cotton Candy). The stamp is from My Pink Stamper's Punny-licious set. And the dog was pop dotted on.

It's a lot of purple, but let me know what you think!

  1. oh helen....i wanted to make this doxie since i got the cart and because sentimental reasons i haven't get to it. I lost two long hair doxies 10 months apart and I still hurt just thinking of them. their names were Hershey the Bear and Sparkles. They were my babies.

anyhow....I love your card. love the papers you used and the bling you used. The hoola-hoop is just too cute and the touch on their paws....NICE. TFS!

How do you like MPS stamps? I really do! I normally ink with dye ink but with the fire truck I used a pigment ink and I love how it stamped.

  2. Flowerdisco--I'm really sorry about your babies. (very sweet names) We have a Lhasa Apso that is 17 and she's having some issues right now. It's very hard as she was our 1st baby, before the kids.

I LOVE MPS stamps!! They stamp so well and the sayings are just perfect!

  5. Hi your work is pretty. I just started paper crafting about 4 months or so ago. I started a blog about them too, lol.

The lady who just lost her fur babies, I know how you feel. I have 2 german shepherds that were brought over to the states on a ship and had them since birth. One had to be put to sleep in Jan 08 and my last one this April 10. I miss them so much.
I still have a little 4 yr old beagle name bailey. You do grieve over them like you do people. My sister does not understand that, but she never had dogs.

come by guys and see my both and work too. I do have a few giveaways going on right now. the rules for the gift certificates are at the top of my blog/
