Scrap It With a Song Layout

There's a new challenge blog that posted their 1st challenge this week called Scrap It With a Song--you can check them out here: http://scrapitwithasong.blogspot.com/ They give you a song, and you create something with the song, part of the song, or just whatever moves you. This week it's an Elton John song called Your Song. I just took part of one of the lines of the song How wonderful life is. . .

I scrapped this picture of my kids from 2001. The journaling talks about how great those days were when we didn't have to work or go to school--we could just play and have fun!!

I used Alphalicious for the words cut at 1 inch. The fireman hats and coat are from Everyday Paper Doll cut at 4 1/2 inches. I just used scraps except for the base cardstock.
Sorry the picture is a little fuzzy, I need to borrow the "good" camera again--LOL!

  1. Yeah I miss those days too!! This is a super sweet LO....they have got to be the cutest firemen I have ever seen! And the colors are perfect for a fireman LO too....I bet you did that on purpose huh :) Thanks for playing along and hope to see ya again....btw......your photo isn't fuzzy from this end...I have that same problem sometimes
