My Creative Time Guest Designer

Hi everyone!  I am thrilled to be a guest designer today over at My Creative Time.  I LOVE all of Miss Emma's products and have the best time playing with them.

I used several products from My Creative Time--I just love how they all mix and match so well.

• Pretty Butterflies & Dragonfly Dies
• Bunch of Fun Circle Dies
• Close to My Heart Pearls
• Stampin' Up! Ink
• White Signo Pen
• Pop dots

I am really liking the circle cards so I used the largest die from the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies to make the base.  The next two circle layers are also from that set.  Then, I wanted to make the butterflies stand out, so I cut out two of each from Pretty Butterfly and Dragonfly Dies and pop dotted them together and pop dotted them to the card after stamping the sentiment.  I finished it off with the pearls around the scallops.

To be honest, there were several variations of this card. I really wanted to have something great to show you today, so I hope you like what I ended up with here :)

Time to Celebrate! with Trendy Twine

Hello everyone!  It's a new month, and time for another Trendy Twine color to spotlight.  This month, it's the four color Celebration Trendy Twine that we are showing off.

I made a fun Small Kraft Gable Box  that you can find in the store, and decorated it for a small birthday gift.

The Happy Birthday is cut from my Cricut Explore machine.  I lined the bottom with the Celebration Twine, but wanted something more for the top.  So I used my 3D pop dots to make these fun twine swirls.  I do love to make these. I would have made more for the sides, but ran out of the dots.

Hi again!  Lots of posts from me this week.  That's what happens when you make cards for publication calls that don't get picked up :)  Hopefully, the ones I worked on this past weekend will get published this time.

This card was for a Paper Crafts Magazine call for the sketch category. I liked the way it turned out.

Congratulations

Hello!  I have a card that is simple, but I really love this one.  It was for a magazine call--I don't think I will ever get into Paper Crafts Magazine, but I'll keep trying for a bit.  They have very specific calls that are harder for me to come up with something.

So here's my gold card.

Supplies used:

• DCWV The Gilded Paper Stack
• Bazzill Black Cardstock
• Close to My Heart Stamp  (I think)
• Encore Gold Metallic Tsukineko Pigmint Ink
• Clear Embossing Powder
• Cartwrights Sequins

I broke out my embossing gun for this one. It was fun!  I'll need to get some new embossing powders and start playing with heat embossing some more.

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone!  There's a few cards I've made for different things that have not been posted yet.  So I thought I would post a few this week.

This one has entirely too much bling on it, but it was for a bling challenge and my daughter told me to add all that :)  I really don't add that much on a card any more and probably should have stopped, but we were having fun!

I used Tickled Pink Trendy Twine -- one of my favorites.  The gems are Doodlebug and the dies are from My Creative Time. I pulled the pink pattern paper out of my scrap pile.
