Trendy Twine -- USA

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today. I have a fun treat box for 4th of July to show you.

I started with the Biggie Kraft Box 3x3 that you can find in the store. I just love all the packaging products you can find there at great prices.  You can fill this with your favorite candies.  Mine are usually of the chocolate variety :)

I used some patriotic paper around the box and they wrapped my Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine around the other way and made a bow.  Next, I pop-dotted my USA die cuts onto two of the sides.  The die cuts are layered and came from Cricut Design Space.

The top seemed a bit plain so I added some white enamel dots that may be a bit off white.  But I think it worked.

These are pretty easy to make and everyone would love a treat on the 4th of July!

Giveaway Time!!
I am giving away a Berries Jubilee Mini this month!  Leave a comment on this post and on my posts on the 18 and the 28th.  I'll draw a winner from those three days.
If you would like an extra chance, Like Trendy Twine on Facebook and Like my HTB Facebook page.  Just come back and leave another comment letting me know you did that and there's another entry.  If you comment all three days and follow on Facebook, that will be four chances!

Have a wonderful day!

Trendy Twine -- Memorial Day

Hello everyone!  I hope you are enjoying an extra day off. Whatever your plans are today, take time to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.

A few of the Trendy Gals made projects for today.  Head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see the other projects.

I made this card using stars drawn and cut from my Cricut.  I die cut an oval die to put the stars on and stamp my sentiment.  I glued down my Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine around the oval and added a bow.  I used pop dots on the stars for some more dimension.

I hope you have a lovely day!

Have a Super Birthday!

Hello everyone!

Today is my daughter's 18th birthday!  She is my youngest and graduating high school in two weeks.  It's an emotional time for me.

This is her birthday card.  She was an extra in the new Spider-Man Homecoming movie coming out July 7.  You can actually see her in the the first trailer that came out!  So she is into Spider-Man right now -- LOL!

I went on the Cricut Design Space last night and was so excited to see a new Marvel digital cartridge full of Spider-Man.  So I had to make a card for her.

I took a close up of Spider-Man to show you the details.  The red and blue pieces do cut out separately, but the machine drew all the webs and spider on the red!  I just love it!!

Thank you Cricut for releasing this!!

Have a wonderful day!!

Trendy Twine -- Happy Mother's Day!

Hello everyone and Happy Mother's Day!  The Trendy Gals made some projects to share with you today.  We used the new Tin Tie Bags and Pink Ribbon set.  I also used Pink Midnight Trendy Twine, a Pink Tag-It and Pink Midnight Trendy Page Dots.

The pink ribbon set has four different pink ribbons in it.  I used three of them on the bag itself.  Next, I wrapped the Pink Midnight Trendy Twine around the bag along with my stamped Tag It.

I finished off the bag by adding two die cut hearts.  It's a quick and simple gift!  The bags are super nice inside and could hold some yummy cookies or other baked goods :)

I hope you have a fabulous Mother's Day!  Be sure to head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see the other fabulous projects :)

Trendy Twine -- Have a Wonderful Day!

Hello everyone! I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  The design team had a few months off, but I am so glad to be back in the swing of things, creating and posting again :)

This month, we are featuring Pink Midnight Trendy Twine and the Chocolate Boxes from the store.  I just love this twine!

I filled my Chocolate Box with some pink and silver Hershey Kisses.  I still had some in a special Valentine bag (I know, how did I still have some left?! - hahaha)

The flower with leaf is a cut from the Cricut Explore.  It drew the black lines on it too.  I picked this cut since it had the black drawing to go with the pink/black twine.  I did wrap the Pink Midnight Trendy Twine around my Chocolate Box about four times and tied the bow before adding my flower with dimensional tape.

The tag is a die cut that I stamped with a sentiment from the Smile Stamp Set.  I also used dimensional tape on the tag and added a small self-adhesive enamel heart to the tag.

It's a quick and simple little gift and perfect for Mother's Day which is coming up soon!
Make sure to visit Annie's Paper Boutique to find all these fun goodies.

Growing In Unity Blog Hop

Hello everyone!  Today is a Growing in Unity Blog Hop! I just love playing with my Unity Stamps and was excited that it was time for the GIU gals that already posted this year to hop.

I was torn on which set to use.  I have so many I love and so many that I haven't used yet :) I did make several cards and this one was my favorite.

I used the Hang In There Lady Set (it's on sale today!).  It's just such a cute little lady bug and it comes with three sentiments that I love.

This is a great stamp to make a quick card with.  There's not a lot of coloring.  I used my red Zig Clean Color marker to color the ladybug in and to add a bit of color to the word wishes.  I then used a clear Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to wish flower, hearts around the ladybug and the word wishes.  Adding it the the wishes made it a watercolor effect and I liked the way it turned out.

I used a border die to add some detail to the white and red layers on the side.  And I finished the card off with three red enamel hearts.

Be sure to comment on all the blogs in hop for your chance to win a Unity Prize package!  There will be two winners :)
