Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone!  Here's a quick card I made to send to someone who actually has the same birthday that I do.  She loves girafees and the color blue so I included both!

Here are the details:
  • Giraffe cut from Paisley at 2 inches; Leaves cut at 1 inch
  • My Pink Stamper Birthday Crazy
  • Bazzill Dot paper
  • heat set gems with iRock
  • blue ribbon
  • pop dots
It was fun to use this giraffe since I love the Paisley and haven't used it in ages!!  Don't forget that tonight at 9pm is the deadline to enter all the giveaways that I have.  There are 5 total so make sure you left a comment on each one for your chance :)

Have a wonderful day!!

In My Heart

Hey everyone!  Just a really small, quick project.  I featured the Paisely cartridge over on the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog today and made a quick project with the card feature.

This feature makes some really quick and easy cards.  Make sure to stop on over there and see what the Paisley cartridge has to offer :)

Snail Mail

I just love the Paisley cartridge!!  I think I've made a lot of cuts off of it and I have a few more I really want to do.

Today, I used the snail cut.  It cuts very big!  I cut this out at 3 inches and the other day, I cut out the dragonfly at 3.75 inches.  There is such a big size difference!  I went with it anyway and just made it into a fun card.

Here are the details:
  • Snail from Paisley Cartridge cut at 3 inches
  • My Pink Stamper More Punnylicious stamp
  • Ribbon--from stash
  • iRock Glam Rocks
  • White Signo Pen for stitching
  • Pattern paper is KI Memories Princess Pack
I'm really please with how it turned out!

Bee Happy!

I designed several projects in my Gypsy yesterday while waiting to go in for my son's check up on his fracture (he's doing fine!).  But most of them I can't even show yet!  But I designed this bee card last night and had some time to put it together this morning.

I used Paisley for this cut--it's one of my favs!  I cut the bee out at 3 3/4 inches.  I stickled the wings, cheeks and flower.  Then I added some iRocks to the top corner and some self stick pink ribbon on there.  I think the patterned paper is Doodlebug, but don't remember.  And last, but not least, the sentiment is from My Pink Stamper's Buggy Punnies that I got really quickly from Hallmark Scrapbook.

It's a beautiful day here and my kids and I are going to Celebrate Freedom, an all day Christian concert, tonight.  I just can't do 12 hours, plus, the groups we like don't start until 5pm.  My husband is a party pooper and is staying home with the dog--LOL!

Have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!!

A Horse of a Different Color

I have had such a busy week!  I just made this card 1 hour before my daughter needed to leave for her BFF's little sister's party.  It is not always a good idea to wait for the last minute, but since it's for a 5 year old, it'll be fine :-)

This little girl loves My Little Pony, so my daughter wanted me to change the Zebra from Paisley into a horse.  I just love that you can hide some of the pieces on the Gypsy!  She wanted me to make a pink card and I think this worked!  I used a pink marker to add some color to the mane.  All the cuts are 3 inches and the patterned paper is by Doodlebug.  I just had to add some stickles, so I used my heat gun to try to dry quicker.  This does make it bubble, but I just put in on the flower, wheel middles and ear.  I added the

The stamp is from MPS Friends and Family!

Not my best work, but my daughter thought it was cute!

Friends Fur-ever Card

Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a good week so far. Not long till the weekend--Yay!

Another card today. I used Paisely again--just love this cart :-) I cut the dog at 4 1/2 inches. I'm not sure if I got all the layers right, this one was a little confusing. The hula hoop didn't cover the whole bottom layer--I'm not sure why. But I just made it meet in the middle and it popped it out and gave it a 3D effect which I like anyway! The patterned paper (isn't it fun?!) came from My Paper Studio Safari Untamed. I added some white accents to the dog's paws and of course some Stickles (Cotton Candy). The stamp is from My Pink Stamper's Punny-licious set. And the dog was pop dotted on.

It's a lot of purple, but let me know what you think!

Thank You Zebra Card

I found this great pack of animal print paper at Big Lots the other day. It has pink, purple, blue, and green, besides the black I think. (I'm not at my crafting area right now). I had been wanting to cut out this Zebra anyway so it was the perfect time!

I cut all the pieces from the Paisley cart at 3 1/4 inches (I love the Expression!). I pop dotted the Zebra/Car on and added stickles to the wheel middles, flower and a little to his pink ear! And I finished it off with the pink/black polka dotted ribbon and My Pink Stamper stamp.

My Daughter's Butterfly Birthday Card

May is such a busy month at my house. I haven't posted since National Scrapbook weekend, but I think that was at least 8 posts in two days!

This card is for my daughter's birthday today. Nothing like waiting until the last minute! I picked up this cute background paper at Archiver's yesterday. In fact, all the paper came from there. They have the free cardstock coupon this month--love that one! The butterfly is from Paisley using the button feature and cut at 3 inches and pop dotted on. I stickled the middle of it. Then I doodled on that and around the Happy Birthday. I finished off the front with some blue rick rack ribbon I had in my drawer.

I actually finished the inside of the card and added another butterfly I had cut out at 2 inches. I've been trying that out lately and really like the look better than a plain inside.

Busy rest of the weekend with a birthday and soccer tournament here. Hope your weekend is great!

Teacher Appreciation M&M Sleeves

I made a bunch of these M&M sleeves for all the teachers, PE, Music, Computer, etc. This is our last year at Elementary school so I thought I would do a little something for everyone. I used the button feature on Paisely for everything but the rainbow. The rainbow is from Hello Kitty Greetings.

These are so simple to make and they don't cost a lot either!

The Cuttlebug Blog Expression Entry

I would really love to win an Expression!! This is my entry for the Cuttlebug Blog's Expression Giveaway. I own the baby bug and just have not been able to buy the big one!

These are for my daughter's teacher for teacher appreciation week. All the cuts are from the Paisley Cartridge. I used Design Studio to weld 2 purses on their side at 5 inches to make the gift card holder and taped just the sides together. I ran the front of this through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dot folder. I cut the purse on the card at 3 inches and ran that though the Cuttlebug as well as the card base. Then I cut just the apple as a topper for the M&M sleeve with the button feature. The leaf paper was also embossed with the Swiss dot folder. And of course, I used some stickles!!

I hope you like my projects--thanks for taking the time to look!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challege #12

This was the last challenge from Saturday. I need to go and do at least two more, not sure if I'll do all. I just don't have that much time today and have to go to work tomorrow.

This challenge was to use an animal. I was going to do a scrapbook page, but did need another card for Teacher Appreciation week anyway. I used the Paisley cart and cut the giraffe at 3 inches. There are lots of little pieces for him, but it's so cute! I had to add stickles, of course! Oh and I ran the top part through the cuttlebug with the swiss dot folder

My Pink Stamper NSD Challege #9

Since I haven't been able to play along all day, I'm going out of order now! I just have ideas for some and not others, so they are easier to do. This challenge you were supposed to use a shape. I made a flower card with Design Studio. I don't have an expression so I can't go too big. But this one is 5 1/2 inches which is a decent size. I just flipped one of the flowers and welded them together at one of the petals. Oh, this came from the Paisley cart--it's the button feature from the bee cut. Then I just cut one center to the flower at the same size. I used the signo white pen to do faux stitchin around the flower. Then I stamped the smile and added yellow stickle dots to the center. Super easy (once my firmware was finally updated!)!!

My daughter just told me it looked a little plain and I agreed. So I added pink gemstones to the petals.

My Pink Stamper NSD Challege #5

So it's National Scrapbook Day but all I've made so far is cards--LOL! I actually made challege 2 but am waiting for stickles to dry so hopped on to #5--Teacher Appreciation. I made this card with the Paisley cartridge. The frog is cut at 3 inches. I just had this paper and had to use it since it kinda matched! The stamp is from TCP Studios. Then I used P.K. Glitz Sticky tape and their Sea Mist Glitter. Now I remembe why I use stickles--I am very sparkly now! But the colors of their glitter is so pretty. I added two adhesive gems to finish it off!

The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge Card

Gosh I have been a bit busy this last week. And I think I lost my mojo too so this is the 1st post in about a week. So I think my mojo might be back, but this is my only free creating time until Friday!

I made this card for the Cuttlebug Spot this week. You can check them out here: http://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/ You must use embossing on it somewhere and I have been wanting to use the Happy Birthday folder that I had to have! Then you needed to use your favorite flower. I'm not sure if this is it, but it is from my favorite cartridge right now--Paisley! I cut them at 3, 2 1/2, and 2 inches each. It is a button feature from this cart. If you don't have it, it's awesome!! I just added some pink ribbon, a Studio G stamp in the big flower, pop dotted the flowers and of course, stickles!

Frog Birthday

I've made a lot of cards lately, but none that say Happy Birthday! So I'm going to try to fix that this week. This one is the 1st frog on Paisley cut at 2 1/2 inches (can you tell I love this cartridge?!). I just used the same paper from the frog for the background and stamped some stars in versamark on the blue. That and the sentiment came from a TCP Studios package. Then I added some American Crafts yellow dotted ribbon. And I added some yellow stickles to the crown and some white pen to his belly.

Spring Challenge Blog Hop--Practical Scrappers

There's a great blog hop going on this week and it starts at Practical Scrappers http://www.practicalscrappers.com/ The challenge for this blog is to add glitter/bling (my favs!).

This is the ladybug I orginally cut out to go on yesterday's card, but I just went in crazy directions with both! It was cut at 2 1/2 inches from the Paisley cart. I added stickles to the dots here.

So I didn't know where to go with the ladybug, so I punched out some yellow circles with a Stampin' Up! punch and stamped the greeting and some flowers on them. I also stickled the flowers for more bling! I used some red yarn and red skittles.

This is definitely not my usual style!

Practical Scrappers Marker Challenge

I'm a little late on this one but wanted to post it anyway. Markers are not one of my favorites to work with, but I decided to step out of my comfort zone!

I don't know what the stamps are from, they've just been in my drawer for a long time! But I stamped and colored three with Stampin' Up! ink and markers then cut them out. I used my Paisley cart to cut out the flower power in 2 shades of pink at 2 inches. The paper is a light green (looks lighter in the picture) and I ran it through the Cuttlebug with the D'vine Swirl folder on the top half.

The ribbon is American Crafts. I added stickles to the flower centers and the words and pop dotted the flowers!

My Pink Stamper/Practical Scrappers Card

I started out making a card for the My Pink Stamper Saturday Challenge and then found that Practical Scrappers posted a new card sketch. I really do love card sketches so decided to do both.

For My Pink Stamper's challenge, you needed to use pink, green and black. So I used those colors and the sketch from Practical Scrappers.

I used pink cardstock for the base (5 1/2 square card) and added a pink polka dotted paper. I used Paisley for the frog and cut it out at 2 1/2 inches with a black shadow, green frog, pink middle and lighter pink heart. Then I used the same green and punched it with the MS Heart Doily edge punch and added a pink with black polka dotted ribbon. I finished it off with some stickles on the frog and some skittles for accents. Oh, and the stamp is from TCP Studios.
