Celebrate!

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over on the Action Wobble Blog today and I'm sharing a cute wobbling ant card.

I used this cute ant image as a print then cut.  Then I used Glossy Accents on the eyes, love to do that eyes, and I added Wink of Stella to the apple he's holding.  After stamping the sentiment, I wrapped the fun Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine around and added a bow.

After attaching the layers, I added my Action Wobble to the ant and then added some red and black gems.

Have a great day!

MFT Stamps 2019 Card Design Superstar Contest -- Clean & Simple

Hello!  Here's a quick post with my entry for the MFT Stamps 2019 Card Design Superstar Clean & Simple.  The deadline is 10pm today so this is the only category I'm entering.  Plus, I am so not a Coloring Virtuoso LOL!

I used the following My Favorite Things Products:

  • Little Hello Dies
  • Well, Hello Stamps
  • Blueprints 13 Dies
  • Ripe Raspberry Cardstock
  • Party Patterns Patter Paper
  • Cotton Candy Ink

I also added a few sequins and used pop dots to give some dimension to the one white layer.

Have a great day!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Hello Llama!

Hello everyone! I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  Today I have a cute llama card for you using Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine.

I love all things llama so I was very happy to find this SVG in my Cricut Design Space that matched the Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine!  I glued my Trendy Twine around the edge of the oval die cut and added a bow at the bottom.  I love that look.

I took a small hello die and cut it out of black card stock three times to layer it.  Then I added some Clear Wink of Stellar to make it sparkle like the background paper. To adhere it, I found an old tube of dimensional glue in my stash.  Not sure how good it really is, but it worked.  I wanted the word to be over the twine but then not flat against the paper.

I did add a bit of Wink of Stella to the llama too.  It's just a fun card!

Have a great day!

Happy Stamptember!

Hello everyone!  It's Stamptember--a fun month-long stamping celebration by Simon Says Stamp with fun new stamps and dies, including some exclusives.

I was very fortunate to be one of 100 to be chosen to be sent a new Stamptember Stamp set.  I got the CZ Design Stamps My Zombie Boo Stamps.  As soon as I saw they had dies I could buy, I ordered them to use with the stamps.  I love what a clean die cut came out.

This is my first card right now.  I colored several images but just got the dies yesterday and threw this together last night.  I'll show more next week!

Its a pretty basic card and very monochromatic.  But it fits the theme LOL! I used grays for the zombie and rocks and the sentiment is from the same set as well.  The paper is from my Halloween stash and I thought fit it pretty well. I made some black ink spatters with black Tim Holtz Distress ink pad.  Simple, but I liked it :)

I know I'll be seeing what other fun goodies I need from Simon Says Stamp this month!

Have a great day!!

Trendy Bakers Twine--Boo!

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine. It's September so there is a new color of the month Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine!  For my project today, I also used a 2x2 Candy Cube, Black Licorice Tag-ItsHappy Halloween Stamp Set, a Blue Berry Sequin, and a Aqua Midnight Trendy Page Dot.

I found the cute Monster Hershey Kisses this weekend and new I could use the teal colored ones with my Trendy Twine.  They are so cute!  I filled my 2x2 Candy Cube with pretty much all the blue ones in the bag.  Then I wrapped my Aqua Licorice Trendy Twine around the box one way.

For the tag, I stamped the Boo! from the Happy Halloween Stamp Set three times with embossing ink and added white embossing powder.  It looks so good on the Black Tag-It that I trimmed down to 2 inches long so it would not hang over too much on the top of the box.

I added one Blue Berry Sequin and then the Aqua Midnight Trendy Page Dot to the top of the tag.  I attached it to the Trendy Twine around the box and added a bow.  The finishing touch was the monsters on two sides.  A friendly monster 😉

Have a great day!!

Action Wobble September 2019 Challenge -- Back to School

Hello everyone!  It's time for the September 2019 Action Wobble Challenge.
The theme is Back to School.

I purchased the Cute Pencil from Printable Cuttable Creatables.  They have a ton of cute SVG files! I did print then cut on my Cricut and added a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to some of the green part of the pencil before putting it on my Action Wobble.

I stamped my sentiment and decided to add some Totally Lemon Trendy Twine at an angle on the base and attached a bow.  I then added my pencil with the wobble just above the twine.  Then I finished it off with some Lemon Tart and Twisted Lime Sequins from Annie's Paper Boutique.

Check out all the projects on the Action Wobble Challenge Blog and join in the challenge!  You can purchase Action Wobbles in the top right hand corner of that blog.

Have a great day!
