Trendy Twine -- Star Spangled Treats

Hi there!  It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  For my project today, made some treats for the 4th of July. I used Totally White Trendy Twine and the Medium Pillow Boxes along with some fun Hershey Kisses.

I have a thing for Hershey Kisses and grabbed a bag at the store a few weeks ago.  They were in the seasonal isle but I didn't pay attention to the bag.  When I opened it, there were blue with stars and red and white striped candies -- so fun!  I thought they would be perfect to put in the Medium Pillow Box in a 'flag' pattern.

I made a tag from a rectangle die and stamped my sentiment with white ink.  Then I added a few small star sequins to it.  I wrapped my Totally White Trendy Twine around the pillow box and tied my bow.  The tag is just tucked under the twine and I did use a small glue dot to hold it in place.

MFT Camp Create -- Wonderful Watercolor

Hello again!  Here's my last post for MFT Camp Create and it's for Wonderful Watercolor.

(this is not the best picture, but no daylight!)

I definitely went outside my comfort zone on this one and I really do like it!  I used LJD Whimsical Wishes stamp set. For the watercolor, I used some Tim Holtz Distress Inks.  To finish it off, I added some self stick gems.

MFT Camp Create -- Delightful Die Cutting

Hi!  I am squeaking two quick blog posts in to make the deadline for MFT Camp Create.  This one is Delightful Die Cutting.

I used the adorable Strike up the Band stamps and die sets and the Stitched Cover Up Companion Horizontal.

I love to use the dies that match all the time--especially now that they open in the middle so I can line it up :)

MFT Camp Create -- Spectacular Shakers

Here is my third contribution to MFT Camp Create -- Spectacular Shakers.  There are two more camp days that I hope to finish up by the deadline on Thursday.  I made the three most time consuming (for me) cards first.

I used BB Hog Heaven stamps and dies.  I decided to cut use a few of the small cupcakes in the shaker along with my sequins.  These piggies are so cute and I can't wait to use this set again :)

MFT Camp Create--Sensational Sliders

Hello again!

Here's another quick post for MFT Camp Create, this time, Sensational Sliders. This is my very first slider card and I can't wait to make more.

I used BB Penguins in Paradise stamps and dies.  The slider die is not from MFT but I do want to get that set--I like that there are border dies in the set with the slider dies.

MFT Stamps Camp Create--Glitzy Glitter

Hello!  Just a quick blog post for MFT Stamps Camp Create--Glitzy Glitter.   

I used LLD Lucky Stars Dies and LLD Count the Stars stamps set.  I used white pigment ink for stamping and then clear embossing powder.   The stars were cut out and covered in extra fine silver glitter.

Trendy Twine -- Happy Father's Day!

Hello everyone!   The Trendy Twine Design Team has a special post today for all dads.  I made a quick card for one of the dads in my life.

I used Stormy Trendy Twine for the collar on the 'shirt' and as an accent on the bottom.  This was super easy to put together!

Trendy Twine -- Congrats!

Hello!   It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.   I am using Totally White Trendy Twine on the wedding card I created.

I cut the rings out on my Cricut machine using some silver glittery card stock. The congrats stamp is new from Lawn Fawn and I used a white ink pad to stamp it. I had planned to white emboss it but I didn't see white embossing powder in my stash.  I then wrapped my Totally White Trendy Twine around the black base and glued the black to my white base.  The rings are pop dotted on and then I added my white bow to the middle and some self stick white pearls to the card.
