My Pink Stamper February Design Team Day

Hi everyone!  It's My Pink Stamper Design Team Day--Yay!  I just love to see what everyone creates.  Today's challenge is to use as many stamps as you can.  So I decided to make a notebook using Hello Kitty.

I am loving the Hello Kitty cartridge lately :)  This was cut at 5 inches and the mat underneath is from Elegant Edges at 5 1/2 inches.   I used My Pink Stamper Simply Sweet Occasions stamps on the cover:  the 3 hearts all over and the smile in the top left (you might need to click on the picture to see it better.

I then stamped on the pages inside and used the following My Pink Stamper sets:
  • Everyday Life
  • Pink-alicious
  • Spectacular Sayings
  • Punnylicious
  • Fruit and Veggie Puns
  • Hope and Courage
  • Family and Friends
Here's a really quick video I filmed last night to show you all the inside (and the fun paper pack!) pages.  I thought this was better than taking a picture of each page!

The cover paper is from The Paper Studio Uptown Flair Stack--it's so pretty!!  But I forgot to put paper on the inside cover page, so it's just the brown chipboard.  I think I might have to make some more Hello Kitty cuts to cover that.  I also used Twine from The Twinery and my Signo pen to do some hand stitching along the edge of the Elegant Edges cut.

I used my Bind it All to finish it off.  This is my second book that I've made and I really love making them!!  Now, make sure to visit My Pink Stamper to see all the Design Team's amazing projects!

New MPS Stamps are Tree-mendous!

I was determined to play with My Pink Stamper's new stamps yesterday.   This card was going to be tree-shaped, but it just wasn't working for me.   It took me about an hour, which is way too long, but I think it turned out better than if the shape did work!  Here are the details:
  • Hello Kitty Greetings tree and all parts cut at 5 1/4
  • My Pink Stamper Christmas Wishes stamp
  • Swiss Dot Cutlebug Folder
  • Yellow & Christmas Red Stickles
  • iRock gems
  • Gold cord
  • White pen
I got the idea from the gold cord going around the card from Emma at My Creative Time--she rocks!  If you click on the My Pink Stamper above and it will take you to see all her wonderful new stamps!  I have to be at a work event this afternoon, so not much time to play today.  At least this is only once a year :-)

Teacher Appreciation M&M Sleeves

I made a bunch of these M&M sleeves for all the teachers, PE, Music, Computer, etc. This is our last year at Elementary school so I thought I would do a little something for everyone. I used the button feature on Paisely for everything but the rainbow. The rainbow is from Hello Kitty Greetings.

These are so simple to make and they don't cost a lot either!

My Pink Stamper NSD Challege #11

I think this is my last challenge for the night. I would like to think that if I was home all day, I would have kept up, but we had soccer and dinner at my parents so I'll have to finish off tomorrow--after soccer again!

This was Colors of the Rainbow challenge. I was able to use all but green--just didn't have the right color green. I decided to actually make a rainbow and this is from Hello Kitty Greetings cut at 3 inches. I stickled the colors and added some self stick ribbon. Not very fancy, but kinda cute!

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 24

Hi everyone! I'm so glad it's the weekend. It has been a very busy week in my house. I made this card for the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge this week. You can check it out here: http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/

This week they gave a sketch, but you also had to use a Peachy Keen Stamp. I used Hello Kitty Greetings for the sun cut on blackout with a shadow at 2 1/2 inches. I then used the Dolly Dumpins to stamp with. I stickled the edges and added a little color to the face. I added some ribbon and a sentiment. It looked a little plain so I used a small heart stamp and a versamark pad to add to the background.

I hope to make some more things today to post through the week. Enjoy your weekend!

Halloween Cards

I had made some Halloween cards and never posted them so here they are.

All the cuts from this first one are from Paper Doll Dress Up. I think the stamp is from Studio G or some other dollar bin stamp. I also used the drippy goo punch at the bottom. I added stickles to the moon and in the windows and doorways of the castle.

This card I just had to use the Hello Kitty Greetings bat. It's so cute! The mat for it is so wide so I added black stickle dots around it. This paper was from a pack in the Target $1 section. Same stamp as above. The Ribbon edges were fraying so I added orange stickles to it and then to the middle of the bow.

Paper Bag Halloween Album

I learned how to make the paper bag album over on the Christmas with the Cricut blog. I have always wanted to try this, but didn' know how!

I used 3 bags and the Halloween Recollections Paper. All the cuts came from Doodlecharms, Hello Kitty Greetings, and Paper Doll Dress Up. The inserts have tabs punched from a Stampin' Up! punch. I used the drippy goo punch on the cover and one other page. And of course I used Stickles!! Lots of pictures!!
