Trendy Twine and Sequins

Hello everyone! There are four new sequin mixes that just released today over at Annie's Paper Boutique and are featured on Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine. The Trendy Gals are each featuring a different mix and I'm here to showcase Blue Berry Sequins. The sequins all have a coordinating Trendy Twine and mine is, of course, Blue Berry 😃

I made a snowflake shaker card.  The Blue Berry Sequins and Blue Berry Trendy Twine were perfect for a winter themed card. The snowflakes were cut using my Cricut.  I picked out one snowflake and arranged it in different sizes on the card front.

I used foam tape cut in small strips to section off the snowflakes.  I poured sequins in each snowflake and carefully turned it over to keep them in the right place.  The front also was cut with a border die so you could see the pattern paper on the bottom.

The stamp is from the Let It Snow Christmas Stamp Set.  It was perfect for this card.  Then I added my Twine and some extra sequins to finish it off.

All the new sequins are so beautiful! Be sure to head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see all the fabulous projects the design team made and all the beautiful new sequins.  And then visit Annie's Paper Boutique to pick some of them up 😄

Have a Happy Halloween!!

Trendy Twine -- Batty For You

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  It's finally a bit cooler here in Georgia and it's almost Halloween!  What a fun time of year.

Today, I made a shaker card using my Lime Licorice Trendy Twine along with the Lime Licorice Batty Sequins and the Happy Halloween Stamp set

I used a circle die to cut out the center of my pattern paper and my Cricut to cut out the black back circle.  That cut is for pumpkin carving but it's perfect for a cover for the shaker card 😃

I glued my Lime Licorice Trendy Twine around the outside of the circle, added a bow and sparkled up the bats.  Then I found a small tag die to stamp my sentiment on from Happy Halloween.  I used the Lime Licorice Batty Sequins for my shaker mix along with some small and bigger glitter to match the sequins.  And I added two bats to the front label which I did use small pop dots on.

Happy Birthday Balloon Card -- WCMD 2017

This is my fourth card for World Card Making Day.  I'm entering it in three challenges:

I used MFT Stitched Oval and Up in the Air stamps and dies.

I'm trying to make birthday cards if I can this weekend since I always need them :)

A Very Merry Christmas -- WCMD 2017

Here is World Card Making Day card #3  This is for MFT Stamps Challenge #3 -- By the Numbers.

I do not have any MFT stamps or dies with numbers.   The large 25 came from Heidi Swapp.  It's a dies set form a December Daily.

I did use MFT Blueprints 12, a sentiment from Toasty Greetings, and the Cherry Crisp Hybrid Ink.

Hello Card -- World Card Making Day 2017

Here is my World Card Making Day card number 2.  I was hoping to have more made by now but I had run an errand.

This card is for My Favorite Things World Card Making Day: Die-namics Designs Challenge.  The challenge was to use only dies, no stamps.  Luckily, I have a selection of MFT dies :)

And this card is also being entered in the Joy Clair CAS Card Challenge.

I used MFT Blueprints #12 and #13 and the Thanks and Hello Die Set. The paper is Doodlebug Hello Spring.

Wishing You Card WCMD 2017

Hello all!  I'll probably have several posts today since I'm participating in challenges for World Card Making Day 2017!

This card is for Winnie & Walter Stencil Challenge.  They have challenges all day long and you have a week to get them in :)

I have not used stencils much but I bought a pack when I bought some Ranger Texture Paste jars.  This is the first time I used one of them and way out of my comfort zone LOL!  I'm not sure how I feel about the card but I did try something new 😉

I used the paste on the stencil and then used my heat gun to dry it -- I'm trying to make a bunch of cards today :) Then I used some distress inks to add color.  I die cut some panels, stamped my Winnie & Walter Wishing you stamps, layered the panel on and added sequins.

Since I am fast blogging today, I took pictures of the supplies I used.

More cards to come!

Trendy Twine -- Choose Happy Stamp Release

Hello everyone welcome to the Choose Happy Stamp Release! This is such a great new stamp set and it is so true--we need to choose happy some days.

I made a sunshine card and treat using two sentiments from Choose Happy.  In addition to the new stamps, I used Lemon Tart Trendy Twine, Lemon Tart Sequin Mix, a Clear Chocolate Box, and a White Tag-It.

I cute the sunshines from my Cricut Machine and added some sparkle to them. Yellow and happy go together for me so I used some fun yellow polka dot paper to go along with my Lemon Tart Twine and Lemon Tart

I used an edge die to cut out the border, then I stamped my sentiment, added my die cut, and glued down my twine and sequins.

For the box, I wrapped some of the polka dot paper around and tied my twine the other direction.  I slipped the tag in and pop dotted my sun on to hold it down.

Be sure to head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see the other projects -- they are so fun!  The stamps release today so go over to the store and Choose Happy 😄

Trendy Twine -- It's All About the Candy!

Hello all!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today. Can you believe it's October already?  That means it's candy time :)  My project today is with the Large Treat Sacks,  Lime Licorice Trendy Twine, the Happy Halloween Stamp Set, and some new Lime Licorice Page Dots.  I just love to make Halloween treats!

I used some DCWV Pattern Paper for the bag topper on my Large Treat Sacks.  These bags can hold a lot of goodies in them! Then I punched my holds in the bag and added my Lime Licorice Page Dots.  Then I threaded my Lime Licorice Trendy Twine through the holes a few times and made a bow.

I die cut a small banner and some black spiders.  The sentiment from Happy Halloween Stamp Set was stamped onto the banner.  Then I added my spiders.  I thought it would be fun to have one hanging down from the bag on the twine.

We will have a special blog post tomorrow so be sure to check back in!!

Have a great day!
