Birthday Flower

Hi everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful Easter!!  I had family over but that meant that I had to clean off all my crafting things from the dining room table where I have been working.  I decided to move a desk into my front room to keep most of my things on so that if we need the table I (hopefully) won't keep it full all the time.  Now it's a bit of a mess, since I haven't finished moving things from upstairs though.  I have to get it organized though since we have a My Pink Stamper Pinkalicious Blog Hop Friday night!!

Over the next few days, I have some projects that I had made when I thought about trying out for a few design teams, but I just wasn't feeling the projects :)  This one I put together for last week for Robyn's Birthday Blog Hop, but then made the cupcake card you saw instead!

Supplies:
  • My Pink Stamper Birthday Crazy set
  • Flower from Little Yellow Bicycle Paradise Paper Flower Kit
  • Cuttlebug Polka Dot Folder
  • Pink Ribbon
  • Pop Dots
These paper flowers are fun and easy.  There are also rosettes in the kit that you just have to fold and glue.  I have a card with one on it from this kit to show you this week :)

Have a great day!

My Pink Stamper Birthday Blog Hop

Hi everyone!  It's a Birthday Blog Hop in honor of Robyn's, daughter's birthday today!!  So glad you could join us.  If you just came from Angela's blog, you are on the right track.  If not, be sure to start at My Pink Stamper to get all the information and to not miss a thing :)

The theme tonight is anything birthday!!  Such fun!  I love to make birthday projects and I decided to make a quick birthday card.

The details:
  • My Pink Stamper Birthday Crazy stamp
  • Cupcake cut at 4 inches from Sweet Treats
  • Happy Birthday Cuttlebug Folder
  • Pink glitter paper
  • White ink
  • Signo White Pen
  • Twine from The Twinery
  • pop dots
I stamped the Make a Wish with a white pigment ink pad. But I don't use those the best :) So I was able to fill it in with the Signo pen!  I also used the pen for some faux stitching on the cupcake.

The next stop on the hop is Chelle.  Then make sure to go back to Robyn's Blog to join in the fun and wish her daughter a Happy Birthday!  And My Pink Stamper Live with Robyn and Karlee is at 10pm CST tonight!!

Here's the hop order in case you get lost along the way:

Have fun!!!

Birthday Wishes

Hi everyone!  Here's a quick card I made to send to someone who actually has the same birthday that I do.  She loves girafees and the color blue so I included both!

Here are the details:
  • Giraffe cut from Paisley at 2 inches; Leaves cut at 1 inch
  • My Pink Stamper Birthday Crazy
  • Bazzill Dot paper
  • heat set gems with iRock
  • blue ribbon
  • pop dots
It was fun to use this giraffe since I love the Paisley and haven't used it in ages!!  Don't forget that tonight at 9pm is the deadline to enter all the giveaways that I have.  There are 5 total so make sure you left a comment on each one for your chance :)

Have a wonderful day!!

Flower Birthday

Hi everyone!  I needed a card for a friend at work and was having trouble with what to do.  I decided I wanted to use some flowers from the Art Philosophy cartridge.

The card you see below is my second take--the 1st one turned out terrible!  I had stamped the Happy Birthday a little higher and thought there was too much empty space between that and the flowers--BIG mistake!!  I really hated it.  But I got up this morning and realized I had time to redo some of it.  Luckily, the flowers came off cleanly so I was able to re-cut the pretty label cut and reassemble.

 Here are the details:
  • Art Philosophy Cartridge:
    • 2 roses cut at 2 inches and 1 rose cut at 2 1/2 inches
    • Label cut at 3 1/2 inches (I think)  and the outside dark layer cut a little bit bigger to not cover the pretty swirls
  • My Pink Stamper Birthday Crazy stamp
  • Doodlebug patterned paper
  • Creative Charms Gradient Jewels
  • Frosted Lace Stickles
  • Zip Dry to assemble flowers and glue on--it sticks them on really well!
I am happy with how it turned out and hope she likes it!  But I don't have an envelope with me that it will fit in since the flowers are a bit thick :)  You can see in the flower close up that I twirled the flowers differently.  I used one side for the big one and the other side of the paper for the smaller ones.  They are so much fun to make!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope to get a lot of things made on Saturday since it's World Card Making Day--hope you join in!!
