My Pink Stamper Birthday Blog Hop

Hi everyone!  It's a Birthday Blog Hop in honor of Robyn's, daughter's birthday today!!  So glad you could join us.  If you just came from Angela's blog, you are on the right track.  If not, be sure to start at My Pink Stamper to get all the information and to not miss a thing :)

The theme tonight is anything birthday!!  Such fun!  I love to make birthday projects and I decided to make a quick birthday card.

The details:
  • My Pink Stamper Birthday Crazy stamp
  • Cupcake cut at 4 inches from Sweet Treats
  • Happy Birthday Cuttlebug Folder
  • Pink glitter paper
  • White ink
  • Signo White Pen
  • Twine from The Twinery
  • pop dots
I stamped the Make a Wish with a white pigment ink pad. But I don't use those the best :) So I was able to fill it in with the Signo pen!  I also used the pen for some faux stitching on the cupcake.

The next stop on the hop is Chelle.  Then make sure to go back to Robyn's Blog to join in the fun and wish her daughter a Happy Birthday!  And My Pink Stamper Live with Robyn and Karlee is at 10pm CST tonight!!

Here's the hop order in case you get lost along the way:

Have fun!!!

I Scream for Ice Cream!

Hi everyone!  I am really trying to get back to regular posting, I promise :)  Today, I have a card for you that goes along with the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge this week called I Scream for Ice Cream!  I happen to LOVE ice cream.  And my favorite time of year to eat it is summer.  My kids and I have been going bowling once a week, pretty much, and there is a Dairy Queen on the way home.  So it's become a habit to stop and get a milkshake after our fun.  I don't think my waistline likes it!  Here's the card I made.

And here are the details:
  • Ice Cream cut at 4 1/2 inches from Sweet Treats
  • My Pink Stamper Sweetest Cupcakes stamp
  • The Paper Studio Sugar and Spice Stack
  • Sizzix folder for ice cream cone
  • American Crafts Ribbon
  • iRock
  • Frosted Lace Stickles
  • pop dots
As I was finishing this card, I thought it might work for my daughter to give to her BFF's sister (she just turned 6) this weekend.  I showed it to her and she said that it's perfect--she loves ice cream and pink!   I'm always glad to have a purpose for my cards, but do tend to let them pile up :)

Now make sure to visit Fantabulous Cricut and see what the Design Team posted on Monday.  Then, be sure to make and post your own cool treat project!

Have a great day!

Cupcake Card & Winner

Hi everyone!  I was hard at work trying to make some cards for a publication call and luckily, they extended the deadline!! I'm trying my hand at getting published this year--not sure if that will ever happen, but I figure that it won't hurt to try :)

Here's a card I made that I decided not to submit.  It's cute, but I don't think it has that wow factor.  I also have the winner from the Pinkalicious Blog Hop at the end of this post :)

Here are the details:
  • Cupcake cut at 3 1/4 inches from the Sweet Treats cartridge
  • My Pink Stamper Fabulous Phrases stamp (LOVE this set!)
  • Little Yellow Bicycle Cupcake Galore with Glitter pattern paper
  • The Paper Company Pastel Yellow and Pastel Pink Cardstock
  • Bazzill Basics Watermelon cardstock
  • Pebbles Rasberry Ribbon
  • Positively Pink SU! Ink
  • Yellow and Xmas Red Stickels by Ranger
  • Pop dots
I cut out a blackout cut of the base layer and used pop dots in between to add a little dimension.

And make sure to check out My Pink Stamper's Blog to see where you can purchase her stamps--her newest ones are really great!

Now I have the winner of the My Pink Stamper Everyday Life set.  Random.org picked:

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #30

Hi everyone!  Here's a card for this weeks Fantabulous Cricut Challenge.  This week is all about baking. Make sure to stop by and check them out!  I decided to make a shape card with the Sweet Treats cartridge. I wanted to make cupcake wrappers, but didn't have any cupcakes to put in them :-)

Here are the details:
  • Base card cut from Sweet Treats at 6 inches
  • Layers from Sweet Treats cut at 5.75 inches
  • My Pink Stamper Everyday Life stamp
  • Bazzill paper
  • iRock
  • Yellow and Light Blue Stickles on flame and candle stripes
  • White pen
The top cut didn't fit on the card base like I thought it would, but I think it looks close enough.  The card actually looks better now than when I first finished it--it grew on me!

Make sure to check back tomorrow.  I have my weekly Serenade post and I'll be giving away a Pink ATG gun!!!

  • My Pink Stamper  Everyday Life stamp set
  • Dvine Swirl Cuttlebug folder

Birthday Present

Here's a quick card for today.  I used Sweet Treats for this one today.  I cut the present at 3 3/4 inches and added some white stitching.  I didn't have time to root around all my patterned paper for something birthday, so I just used the same colors of the present and ran two through the Cuttlebug with the Happy Birthday Folder.  This is Bazzill paper and the embossing is very deep on it--love it!   I used another color for the strip in the middle with an EK Success Punch.  The tag also came from Sweet Treats and is cut at 2 1/4 inches.  I added a little twine bow and a My Pink Stamper Friends & Family Stamp.  Not the best lighting--I needed to get a picuture tonight so I can give it to someone tomorrow!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #18

I made this card for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #18.  This week the challenge is to make a cool sweet treat with an optional shape card.  I wanted to try the shape so I used the card feature for the ice cream sundae on the Sweet Treats Cartridge.  The size is 6 1/2 for the card and all the pieces.  This is actually a small card, but I thought it was cute.  I pop dotted the whipped cream and cherry and they are also stickled.  I also added some white gel pen to the ice cream.  Then I stamped the So Cool at the bottom from MPS Punny-licious set.

And I wanted to share a picture of this fun package I won from the Cuttlbug Challenges Blog!  There's a Rasberry Cutlebug with folders, 2 quilling kits (rose/carnation & daisy) and 7 cartridges!!!  Can you believe it?!  Preserves and Serenade are in there--I've been really wanting both!  And there's Summer Vacation, Independence Day, Mother's Day, Easter and Superman.

I don't know what to make first!  But, I do have to sync to my Gypsy so I can get started.  I can't believe I have to work this week--I hope my kids don't want too much from me :-)

Sweet Treats Card

Hi everyone!! I have 99 followers--almost to that 100 mark! Don't forget to leave a comment on this post http://craftingcricutmom.blogspot.com/2010/06/blog-candy-giveaway.html to enter to win the blog candy I am giving away this week. Tell your friends!

I made this card using the Sweet Treats cartridge. This is cupcake 5 on pg. 28 cut at 3 1/2 inches. The patterned paper is Sweetie Pie Swoon by Bo Bunny and the ribbon is American Crafts. Make a Wish is a Pink Stamper stamp--love those! The pearls are by Prima and I received these from Kristina at Your Memories Here, a great online store http://www.yourmemorieshere.com/ I need to get some more of these! I finished of the card by adding Stickles (Fruit Punch and Frosted Lace), white doodling, and pop dotting the cupcake and the heart.

Thanks for stopping by!
