A Smiley Card

I was able to get the Gypsy carts download last night--WooHoo!  I LOVE being a Circle Member.  So I had to try out cutting something from the Smiley Cartridge.  I really would love a handbook so I know what the heck I'm doing.

I think this ice cream has some cheeks to cut out.  But, my Gypsy was going red and I wasn't feeling great (but had to finish!) so I improvised with i Rock gems.  I also added them for the eyes.  I added eyebrows with a marker because the pattern paper ripped just a bit and looked white, so I tried to fix it.

This is cut at 3 inches and only the base and the ice cream.  I also used a white pen for the stitching, MS Loopy edge punch and some pink ribbon.  The card is a bit smaller at 5 x 4 inches, I think.  The stamp is from My Pink Stamper Spooky Puns.

This looks to be a really fun cartridge!!!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

I wanted to make something for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge this week.  The theme is Halloween, spooky or not.  I made this small treats and wanted to make a card too, but haven't been feeling well this week.  Which really stinks since my birthday is Sunday.  But I'm determined to go out to eat at some point--LOL!

Here are the details:
  • Sweet (shadow, phrase, shift phrase) cut at 2 1/2 inches from Mini Monsters
  • Treats (shadow, phrase, shift phrase) cut at 2 inches from Mini Monsters
  • My Pink Stamper Spooky puns stamps
  • Orange and 2 purple Stickles
I outline the letter of Sweet in 2 different purples.  The orange stickles went on the candy wrapper ends and topped an M & M bag.  For the bigger bag, I just used a scrap of purple to make the base.  It looked a little plain so I added the stamps.  That's all I got for creative right now.  But I do have 3 new cartridges on the way, so hopefully, I can get some Mojo for them!

Playing with Serenade by Flowerdisco & Friends Week 7

Well, it's our last week of Serenade :(  We've made it through the entire cartridge!  I have loved all my cuts, but this week was a bit different.  I had a stand--yep, just a stand.  I had to add a bird cage to it, so I used one from this same cartridge.

Here are the details:
  • Stand cut at 4 inches, bird cage cut at 2 inches
  • My Pink Stamper Friends & Family stamp
  • Cuttlebug Birds & Swirls folder
  • Yellow glitter paper for the cage
  • DCWV mat stack paper
  • i Rock gems
  • American Crafts ribbon
The cuts were smaller than I thought they would be, but since it's a tall cut, I couldn't make it much bigger.  I think it turned out pretty good :)

Make sure to go visit everyone else and see their creations this week!

It's been so much fun going through this cartridge with everyone!!

Create

This wall decor item is for the Cricut Circle Monthly Challenge.  I really wanted to get this finished before this week, but soccer and DT stuff came 1st!
So it's a really rainy, yucky day so the lighting is not the best!  Here's another shot to see the dimension.

Here are the details:
  • Base cut out of chipboard at 7 inches from Home Decor
  • Flower and flower shadow cut at 3 inches from Home Decor
  • Butterfly and butterfly shadow cut at 2 inches from Home Decor
  • Create and create shadow cut at 2 inches from Home Decor
  • Yellow circle to fill in middle cut at 5 1/2 inches from Plantin Schoolbook
  • Fruit Punch, Cotton Candy and Frosted Lace Stickles
  • i Rock Gems
I cut the base from some chipboard and then cut it again in a yellow polka dotted paper.  The I cut it again in green so I could make the vine and the 'handle' a different color.

I decided I didn't like having an opening in the middle so I used DCWV glitter paper to make a circle to glue to the back.  I completely covered the flower and butterly in stickles and stickled the green parts.  I did use some pop dots to stick the layers together and to put on the create.  And of course, I added some i Rock gems to the word Create!

Poodle Pink

I made this card last night while waiting for My Pink Stamper's UStream to start.  Two cards in one night--I'm trying to catch up from not having crafting time this week :)

Here are the details:
  • Poodle from Create a Critter cut at 3 1/2 inches
  • My Pink Stamper Even More Punnylicious stamps
  • Peachy Keen Critter Faces
  • EK Success pawprint border punch
  • Pink stickles
  • Pink Ribbon
  • pop dots -- 2 different heights
I am not sure about all the paw prints.  I probably should only have put 2 but my daughter thinks it is cute.  The face stamp had a nose, but I did't want it.  So I used a marker to ink everything but the nose to stamp the face.

Lots to do today, but the 9am soccer game is out of the way.  I'd love to gave a game that wasn't at 9 :)

Have a great Saturday!

My Pink Stamper UStream Challenge

Here's a card that I made for Robyn's 30 minute UStream Challenge.  We had to use pink, purple, and green.

Here are the details:
  • Frog from Create a Critter cut at 3 1/2 inches
  • My Pink Stamper Even More Punny-licious stamp :)
  • Purple dotted ribbon
  • Pink Stickles
  • iRock gems for eyes
  • Swiss Dot Cuttlebug Folder
Quick and easy!  The green paper had a cut out of it so I gave the froggie a bow!!
