Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Me Monday #82

Hi eveyone! Fantabulous Cricut Challange Me Monday day is here!  Today's challenge is Purple People Eater-use purple and a monster or bug on your project :)  So fun!!

Here are the details:
  • Monster cut from Mini Monsters at 3 inches
  • My Pink Stamper Spooky Puns
  • Doodlecharms:
    • Monster Mania Monster Dots Paper
    • Doodle Twine Halloween Assortment
  • TCP Studios Rockets and Rayguns Googly Eyes
  • iRock
  • Action Wobble
  • Black Diamond Stickles
When I went to cut out the monster, the pieces for the eyes and mouth looked so tiny that I decided not to even cut them out.  I knew I would use the stickles for the mouth and then I pulled out these fun googly eyes I bought in September but hadn't used yet. Half the package has extended eyes that bug out.  You can see this in the second picture.

I hope you have time to play along this week!!  Make sure to visit Fantabulous Cricut to see all the Design Team's Purple People Eaters :)

You can visit my Friday post to leave a comment to win a set of the stamps I used today.  I'll draw a winner tomorrow!

Too Cute to Spook!

Hello!  Here's the 2nd challenge card I made over the weekend.  I just LOVE this one!  It really is cute :)

Here are the details:
  • Mini Monsters Spider cut at 2 1/2 inches
  • Elegant Edges border cut at 4 inches by 1 inch
  • My Pink Stamper Spooky Puns
  • Spiderweb Cuttlebug Folder (borrowed)
  • Black Twine From the Twinery
  • iRock
  • Magenta and Cotton Candy Stickles
  • Action Wobble
This was really easy to put together.  The eyes on the spider are so tiny and I lost one.  My table mate (hi Angie!!) suggeted the iRock eyes which was just perfect--I used two different sizes on that.  Then I made the spider hang but left the twine loose and used an Action Wobble to attach the spider.

If you have a chance, I would appreciate a vote over at the Practical Scrappers Card Making Contest I am in. Card Contest Link You can vote everyday :)  I really to thank everyone who is supporting me through this contest!!   Found on Practical Scrappers:  *if you are unable to cast a vote but wish to you may send a vote via email to practicalscrapperscards@gmail.com*

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

I wanted to make something for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge this week.  The theme is Halloween, spooky or not.  I made this small treats and wanted to make a card too, but haven't been feeling well this week.  Which really stinks since my birthday is Sunday.  But I'm determined to go out to eat at some point--LOL!

Here are the details:
  • Sweet (shadow, phrase, shift phrase) cut at 2 1/2 inches from Mini Monsters
  • Treats (shadow, phrase, shift phrase) cut at 2 inches from Mini Monsters
  • My Pink Stamper Spooky puns stamps
  • Orange and 2 purple Stickles
I outline the letter of Sweet in 2 different purples.  The orange stickles went on the candy wrapper ends and topped an M & M bag.  For the bigger bag, I just used a scrap of purple to make the base.  It looked a little plain so I added the stamps.  That's all I got for creative right now.  But I do have 3 new cartridges on the way, so hopefully, I can get some Mojo for them!

Craft Junkie Too Fall Design Team Post

Hi again everyone!  I usally don't post twice in one day, but this is my 1st Design Team post for Craft Junkie Too.  I'm so thankful to Tracy for picking me to be on one of her fall teams!

For my 1st project, I've made a wall hanging.  I actually used my Deep Cut Blade for the first time by cutting the chipboard for the base.  Here are the details:
  • Base cut out in chipboard and cardstock at 10 inches from Mini Monsters
  • Beware cut at 2 inches from October 31st
  • Spiderweb cut at 6 1/4 inches from October 31st
  • Spiders cut at 1 1/2,  2 1/2, and 3 1/2 inches from October 31st
  • Black stickles on Beware and Frosted Lace Stickles on web
  • i Rock gems
  • Several different ribbons/patterns tied on handle
  • Sponged black ink on edges and around web
This was so much fun to make and I just love how it turned out!  My daughter wants it for her room--she already took a framed piece I made for Halloween too--LOL!  But it's still hanging over my fireplace for now :)

Make sure to go over to Craft Junkie Too to see the rest of the Design Team's wonderful projects!!

My Pink Stamper Color Challenge

I made this shaped card for the MPS Color Challenge. http://www.mypinkstamper.com/ It didn't quite work the way I planned it, but I did get all 4 colors on it! You need to use brown, green, orange and pink. The only pink is the lips, but it's still there! I wanted to add a sentiment, but there is no where to put it on a frog--LOL! I designed this in my gypsy and welded 2 shadow frogs from Mini Monsters together. It didn't fold the way I liked, but the bow at the top hides that :-) Then I cut the rest at the regular size to add the features. I outlined the whole thing with a white pen and added the black eye part with a black marker. No bling today :-( I just didn't know where to bling a frog!
