Pinkalicious Blog Hop!

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the My Pink Stamper Pinkalicious February Blog Hop!  Fridays are even more fun when you can hop.  If you have just come from the fabulous Cristi you are on track.  If you haven't make sure to start at Robyn, My Pink Stamper, so you do not miss a thing!

Today's challenge is to use the color red, a circle, pink ribbon and more than one My Pink Stamper stamp.  I have to say that this was a challenge for me.  I was making a treat box, but the picture didn't show the red on the pattern paper very well.  So I ended up making a circle card.  Not my best work though!

Here are the details:
  • My Pink Stamper From the Heart Set: Hugs, Kisses, Happy Valentines Day, Big & Small heart
  • Wild Card--base and circle cut at 5 1/2 inches; Oval cut at 5 inches
  • Bazzill Bassics red and pink glitter paper
  • Pink Organza ribbon
  • red ink
  • pop dots
I stamped hugs, heart, kisses in red ink onto the red card base. It's a bit hard to see in a picture but I think you can see a bit of it. I arranged the 3 stamps onto a block and stamped at once.  This is so easy to do with all of Robyn's stamps :)

Your next stop on the Hop is the wonderful June.  After you visit everyone, make sure to head back to Robyn's blog and play along!

I do have a My Pink Stamper stamp set to giveaway today!  Leave one comment for your chance to win Robyn's Birthday Crazy set.  The last time we had a hop, there were blogger comment problems if you were using Internet Explorer.  So if you find you are having trouble leaving a comment today, try Firefox (I switched to that myself) or Google Chrome.

Thanks for stopping by today!!  Here's the whole hop list in order in case you get lost along the way.

Craft Junkie Too Fall is in the Air

Hi everyone!  This week for Craft Junkie Too, we were to make something that can hang.  Well, that is one of my favorite things to do right now!

I went with a Thanksgiving theme.  I took the picuture on my desk where the light is better, but this will hang on a wall.  Here are the supplies and then I'll talk a little about how it went together after.
  • Pumpkin, Turkey and leaves from Create a Critter cut at 10 inches, 6 inches and 2 inches
  • Happy Thanksgiving from Wild Card cut at 13 inches
  • Orange and Frosted Lace Stickles
  • White pen
  • Orange ribbon on back to hang
There's really not a lot of supplies to make this.   I had to go buy brown paper to make this, but only bought 8 1/2 x 11.  The the pumpkin took up most of the 12 inch mat!  So I cut the base out in kraft cardstock and then put the brown smaller sheet in the middle so it would cut the stem.  Then I cut the top orange out 2 times to make it more sturdy.

I pop dotted the Turkey and Happy Thanksgiving.  There's orange stickles on one of the turkey's feathers and then just some on the the red leaves.

Don't forget to head over to Craft Junkie Too to see the rest of the design teams great projects!!

My Creative Time Throwback Thursday

I made this card for Emma's Throwback Thursday at My Creative Time.  The challenge this week is Wild Card with your favorite holiday.  I made a New Year's Card--not because it's my favorite, but because I can use it in a swap I'm in :-)

I cut everything at 5 inches (I think, my Gypsy ran out of juice).  I even made the matching envelope.  The card paper is Mica that I don't have much of.  It's wonderful paper!  I used the D'vine Swirl Cuttlebug folder and black stickles to pop out the features on the envelope.

I have lots more projects in the works, but have family coming in town Sunday for only a day and 1/2.  But I hope to get some more done when my Gypsy is finished charging!

Mojo Monday 142

I made this card for the Mojo Monday challenge this week. You can see the sketch here: http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/ I used Imaginisce background paper and the Wild Card cart. I cut the fireworks at 6 inches from the Star cut. The stamps are some random ones I had in my drawer. Then I doodled the white accents on the square and fireworks and added gold stickles to the stamped stars. The fireworks are pop dotted and I used an edge punch.
I should really take pictures in the daytime so the colors look better!

Wild Card Graduation

May has been a crazy month at our house! What with end of school activities and 2 soccer tournaments in a row, and not feeling well this week, I haven't had time to craft much.

I did buy the Pink Expression Monday before I felt too bad. And Wild Card came in the mail the same day. I was able to play a little Tuesday night and made the graduation card and matching envelope for a friend's daughter. It's not super fancy and I need to learn the best paper to use for envelopes!

I had no idea how to close this envelope so I use some graduation ribbon to tie it closed. Plus it looked cute! I cut everything at 7 inches. I did learn that you cut all the extras at the same size too. I had cut a saying to go on the cap, but just didn't like it. So I just stamped congrats. I added stickles to the tassel (I think you can see it better if you click the picture).

Can't wait to play more with my Expression and new carts (I kept Pink Journey too!!)!
