Thanks a melon

Hello again!  Today I have another shape card that didn't make the cut for publication.  It's a fun watermelon shape. The color is not the best but I thought it was fun!

Here are the details:
  • Watermelon cut at 4 1/2 from Preserves cartridge
  • My Pink Stamper Fruit and Veggie Puns stamp
  • Bazzill Basics Celtic Green Dot and Carob Cream Paper
  • The Paper Company Red Linen paper
  • Maraschino Twine from The Twinery
  • Signo White Pen
  • Frosted Lace Stickles
  • White button
I just cut 2 out and folded down the back again for the card base. The seeds is where the brown paper is but then I covered them in stickles.

I hope you have a great week!  Check back on Wednesday for the winner of my surprise goodies from Friday's post :)

Berrylicious!

Hi everyone!  I've taken a bit of a break on blogging, but didn't really intend to.  I just haven't been able to create anything lately.  We have some work going on around the house and add kids and a puppy to the mix and there's not a lot of time!

Here's a quick card I made with the new Berrylicious line from Imaginisce.
The details:
  • Strawberry cut from Preserves at 3 inches
  • My Pink Stamper Fruit and Veggie Puns stamp
  • Swiss Dot Cuttlebug folder
  • Pattern paper from Imaginisce Berrylious Collection
  • American Craft Ribbon
  • Frosted Lace Stickles
  • Action Wobble
  • White Signo pen on flower
I ran the strawberry throught the Cuttlebug with the Swiss dot folder and added an Action Wobble to the berry.  I just love this new line from Imaginisce!!

Don't forget that Friday night is the My Pink Stamper Pinkalicious Blog Hop!!  And I'm going to have some good blog candy!  (Well, I think it's good--LOL!)

Thanks a Melon!

Here's a card I made for someone I work with.  She is so helpful and does things that are totally not her job, but loves to help!
I used the preserves cartridge and cut the melon at 3 1/2 inches.  All the paper is Bazzill, I just bought a package at Michael's yesterday.  I used my irock for the gems, self stick brown ribbon and a white pen to outline the edge of the melon.  The stamp is from MPS Fruit & Veggie Puns (love these!!).

This is also a thank you to everyone who left such nice commments about my Desgin Team card!  I'll pick a winner at 8pm tonight for the Mother's Day Cartridge!!

Have a Grape Day!

This card gave me so much trouble!!  But I was determined to finish it :-)  I had trouble cutting out these pieces.  I had to recut some of the pieces because they did not cut out all the way.  I've since changed the blade housing number from 4 to 6.  I have no idea what it should be set at!

Here's the details:
Grapes from Preserves -- all cuts at 4 inches
My Pink Stamper Fruit & Veggie Puns Stamp
Bazzil paper
EK Success border punch
Paper Pizza patterned paper
Ribbon from stash
white pen for accents
self-stick gems
dimensional tape

You're one in a Melon!

I am loving the Preserves cartridge right now, especially since I have My Pink Stamper's Fruit & Veggie Puns stamps :-)

I cut the big watermelon at 2 1/2 inches and the smaller watermelon at 1 1/2 inches.  There are 4 layers for these and it makes it so easy to put together!  The stamp is a MPS stamp and then I just used cardstock, some self-stick gems and stickles.  This went together so quickly!

Don't forget my giveway--it's one post down!

A Cherry Hello!

I have really been wanting to use my new Preserves cartridge and finally had a chance.  It's not very involved, but I love the way it turned out!

Cherries from Preserves cut at 3 1/2 inches
MPS Fruit & Veggie Puns
Bazzill Cardstock for cuts and background
Self-stick ribbon
White Signo Pen for accents
iRock

I was just in love with the idea of the iRock, but it dissapointed me tonight.  It stopped working before I was done and I had to glue one last gem down.  I hope it will work again (this was only the 2nd time I've used it), or I'll try to get a replacement.

Oh, and since I've hit 200 followers, I think I'll do a giveaway tomorrow!!  Thanks so much to all my followers, new and old :-)
