Happy Thanksgiving

Hello everyone!  Can you believe I have had something to show you so many days in a row?  It's all thanks to World Card Making day and my needing to make another card for the next part of the Practical Scrappers Card Making Contest I am in :)  Today is the last day to vote, so if you have some time today, I would really appreciate your vote.  Even if you happened to vote for me already, you can vote once a day.  I have no idea how anyone is doing since they have kept it hidden (probably a good thing for me) :)

Here's the link to the post with my card in it:  http://www.practicalscrappers.com/2011/10/card-contest-round-one-group-three.html All you need to do is leave a comment with my name (Helen Bisesi).  I would love to move on to the next round since I've already submitted my card for it, so I appreciate all the votes!

This is a card I made as one of the options for the next round (I made several before I decided which to send--stress!!) but I didn't go with it.

Here are the details:
  • Disney Princess Happily Ever After pumpkin cut at 3 inches
  • Straight from the Nest leaves cut at 4 inches
  • Cuttlebug folders: Divine Swirls for background; Swiss Dot for leaves:  the bottom of a skinny flowers folder for the pumpkin
  • My Pink Stamper Happiest Moments Stamp
  • Cappuccino Twine from the Twinery
  • Heat set gems and iRock to attach
  • pop dots
  • brown ink to distress
No matter if I move on to the next round of the contest or not, I will show you the card I submitted on Saturday!!

Thanks so much everyone!!!

Helen

Disney Scrapbook Page

Hi everyone!  I pulled out my pictures for some scrapping this past weekend.  I so need to do this more often so you should be seeing some more pages around here :)

I am years behind but really want to work on our Disney book from September.  This is a page I started a while ago and just finished on Monday.

Here are the details on this really easy page:
  • Title cut from Mickey Font cartridge at 1 inch
  • Sword cut from Happily Ever After at 5 inches
  • Shiny paper is from Theresa Collins
  • Helmar Scrap Dots
I think I did not finish the page because I needed a sword and just had to buy Happily Ever After -- LOL! And I used the Scrap Dots to pop up the sword on the page.  I actually have letters cut for another Disney page so I'll see if I can get that one made this week too.

Don't foret that we have a Pinka-licious blog hop Friday night!!  I'm going to have a giveaway too :)
