Dishwasher Magnets

Hi everyone!  Today I have dishwasher magnets to show you.  No one in our house can figure out if the dishwasher is clean or dirty.  Half the time, they don't bother putting their dishes in anyway--LOL!  We've been using a magnetic chip clip with a ratty piece of paper that I wrote clean on to let everyone know it's time to empty.  My husband said before Christmas that I need to use my Cricut and make something nicer.  So I finally did yesterday (Snow Day #2).

Here are the details:
  • From My Kitchen Cartridge--Ovals cut at 3 1/2 inches; Silverware cut at 1 3/4 inches
  • Alphalicious letters cut at 2 1/4 inches
  • 5 x 8 inch Adhesive Magnetic Sheeting (I used two of these)
  • TCP Studio So Delish Toast & Pear Delight Patterned paper
  • Bazzill Basics Paper in Suede Brown Medium and Caribbean Breeze
  • Zip Dry Glue
I cut the magnet material out with the Deep Blade x's 4.  Then I cut the patterned paper out from the same cut and just stuck it on since the magnetic was adhesive.  I used the Zip Dry Glue to stick everything on for a better hold.

It was super easy and I can't wait to cut more magnets out for decorations!!  That's after we are not snowed/iced in and I can go to the store again--LOL!

Don't forget that My Pink Stamper is having a blog hop this Friday night at 9pm Central --that's 10pm Eastern, 8pm Mountain, 7pm Pacific.  This is her first monthly hop introducing her new My Pink Designers so make sure to hop along!!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #38

Hi everyone!  It sure was hard to go back to work today.  If you look on the sidebar at the top, you'll see that we're having a Fantabulous Cricut Crawl on December 13th--the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge version of a blog hop!  This will be my 1st ever blog hop--I've never been in one--and I'm super excited!!

Today I have my Design Team project.  We needed to use ribbon.  Well, that is so easy for me since I put ribbon on practically everything I make--LOL!  I do have to say that I was not feeling very crafting at the time of creation.

I used my new Your Story Photo to make this recipe book.  I found a package of recipe cards that were never opened and they fit perfectly in one of the 4 x 6 books.  1st, I used the Dvine Swirl Cuttlebug to emboss the cover.  Next. I put the package of recipe cards in and bound it.  (This is so super easy!)  I wrapped white ribbon a few times around and tied a bow.  The cuts are from My Kitchen at 2 inches each. And then I added some stickles!

Make sure to check out the Fantabulous Cricut Blog to see all the designers beautiful projects!
