Baby Congrats!

Hi everyone!  I threw a baby shower at work in February and she had her baby this week.  So I made a card for everyone here to sign.  I'm just putting up the quick details for you!

  • My Pink Stamper Sweet Baby stamps -- Congrats and baby foot
  • Baby Carriage cut at 3 1/2 inches from Simply Charmed
  • Spots and Dots Cuttlebug folder
  • Martha Stewart Punch Around the Pages punches
  • Action Wobble
  • Frosted Lace Stickles
  • iRock Gems
  • American Crafts ribbon
This was fun to make!  I used an Action Wobble for the baby carriage.  I love those things!  Oh and this is a 5 1/2 inch square card for plenty of room for the office to sign.

Hope you have a great day!  I think I'll have a giveaway next week :)

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #53

Hi everyone!  The Fantabulous Cricut Challenge theme this week is Looks Like Spring.  Make a project with a spring theme.  This week, I decided to alter a mini clipboard.  I covered the front and back with paper (the back is plain green).  Then I used Cricut cuts to decorate and added a blue mat for a picture later.  My daughter wants to steal it from me, but I had planned to put it in my office.  She'll probaly end up with it though :)

Here are the details:
  • Bird (cut at 1 1/2 inches) and nest (cut at 2 inches) from Straight from the Nest cartridge
  • Tree (cut at 3 1/2 inches) and flowers/butterfly (cut at 1 inch) from April Showers
  • Cuttlebug 5 x 7 Polka Dot Folder
  • American Crafts City Park Pattern Paper
  • Helmar Quick Dry Glue
  • Helmar Scrap Dots
  • Stickles
  • Peapod Twine from The Twinery
  • Blue and white ribbon
  • Signo White pen

I used the Helmar Quick Dry glue to glue down the paper, then the twine around the outside of the clipboard.  Then I cut the legs off the bird and used the Helmar Scrap dots to pop up the bird in the nest and also the tree and butterfly.

This was a fun project and something different for a change :)  Make sure to visit the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog  to see all the designers wonderful projects.  And make sure to play along with us!!

Candy Bags

Hi  everyone!!  Hope you've been having a great weekend.  I made these little candy bags for my children's Sunday School Teachers.  It was teacher appreciation day at church.

They were super simple, but when you make 16, it doens take a while.  I originally used the ATG tape to seal it, but that was not holding on the side fold so I had to fix them this morning with Helmar's Quick Dry Glue.  I've just gotten some recently and love it!

The bags are 4 1/2 inches from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.  Then I used My Pink Stamper Faithful Sayings stamp which is perfect for Sunday School.  I used the Signo white pen to outline the front tag and pop dots to pop it up!

Hope your Sunday is wonderful!!

My Pink Stamper Design Team Tuesday

Hi everyone!  Today is My Pink Designer Day!!  The assignment today is a scrapbook page.  I am so far behind in my scrapping so this was fun for me.  But I usually pick out my pictures and build around them.  This time, I had the idea and will add a picture later.  This was more of a challenge for me!

Here are the details:
  • My Pink Stamper Music Speaks stamps
  • Guitar cut at 4 inches from Quarter Note
  • Teresa Collins On the Edge patterned paper
  • Signo white pen
  • Pop dots

Here's a close up of the guitar and stamping.  I stamped the Rock-n-Roll in the same blue ink as the paper all around the page.  This was quick and simple to do once I got past the no picture thing :)  I'll add a picture of my son with his new guitar from Christmas once I get it from my MIL.

Make sure you visit My Pink Stamper and see the rest of the design team's amazing pages and find out where you can order her fabulous stamps!!  I hope this inspires you to get some scrapping done!

Have the Happiest Birthday!

Hi everyone! I'm trying to get back to regular posting this week--we'll see how that goes LOL! Today is a Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Me Monday. I'm not posted over there, but wanted to make something to put up since the challenge this week is a birthday theme in honor of Robin's (our wonderful leader) birthday. Happy Birthday Robin!!!

I've sent her a totally different card since I just made this one last night :) I hope you all take time to participate this week!!

Here are the details:
  •  Flower and Flower Shadow cut at 3 inches from Accent Essentials
  • My Pink Stamper Fabulous Phrases stamp
  • Little Yellow Bicycle Field of Flowers patterned paper
  • Marshmellow Glimmer Mist
  • The Paper Studio Pastel Bag O' Buttons
  • Lemon Drop Twine from The Twinery
  • Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive
  • Signo White pen
  • pop dots

I used the Glimmer Mist on the top flower and added the button with a bit of twine to the middle. Maria from the My Pink Stamper design team shared this great idea of bending the stamp to make different shapes, so I gave it a try. I really need to get some bigger blocks to make it work beter.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog to see the designer's wonderful projects!!
