Trendy Bakers Twine -- Ready for Spring!

Hello everyone! I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  I'm showing you some cards I made a few weeks ago and haven't posted.  I used Totally White Trendy Twine on one and Limeade Trendy Twine on the other. I don't know about you, but I'm ready for some pretty weather!  These cards make me think of the nice days that Spring can have and I'm dreaming of 😊

On this card I used the Unity Stamp Wreath Builder set and kept it simple.  Since you need a square piece of cardstock, I knew my Totally White Trendy Twine would be perfect for the bottom part of the card with a bow in the middle.

This card used Limeade Trendy Twine and Lemon Tart Sequins.  I love the yellow and green together and this paper had both.  So I used my Limeade Trendy Twine on the curve of the card stock and my Lemon Tart Sequins as accents.

I hope you have a great day!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Much Love

Hello all!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today and sharing a card that could be a valentine, but it doesn't have to be!  I used Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine and two different sequin mixes from Annie's Paper Boutique.

The heart tree is from MFT stamps.  I thought it would be perfect for my Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine.  I made the red base, and the white top layer.  Then I wrapped my twine around the card and tied the bow at the tree base in the middle.

I then cut out a small tag and embossed my sentiment onto it.  Then I took a black sequin from the Lemon Midnight Sequin Mix and a red one from the Candy Cane Sequins.  It's good to own them all from the store so that I can mix and match LOL!

Have a wonderful day!

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #424

Hello everyone!  I was able to play a bit in my craft room this weekend and decided to make a card for the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #424.

I used a lot of MFT products:
  • Birth-Yay Stamps and Dies
  • Blueprints 13
  • Blueprints 33
  • Tag Builder 7
  • Party Patterns 6x6 paper
I also used some Clear Wink of Stella on the present bow and balloons.  But you can't really see that here. I colored using Copics--I'm still working on that :)

Have a great day!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- XO OX Treats

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  It's finally February!  January really did seem like a very long month.  It didn't help that it rained a lot where I live.  This month, the Trendy Gals are showcasing Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine.  I also used Candy Cubes 2x2 Boxes and the Smile Stamp Set.

I have these cute buffalo plaid SVG files that I just got last week.  They go perfectly with our Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine!  The original plan was to just put them on the box, but I wanted them to pop.  So I wrapped a 1 1/2 inch piece of white card stock around the box after wrapping my Twine around the box a few times.

Next, I put foam tape on all the pieces.  Even the tiny heart.  It was thing pieces of tape! There's an XO and OX on each box.

To finish it off, I cut a small tag from a die I have and stamped the Smile from the Smile Stamp Set onto it and punched a hole.  Then I slipped it through one of the pieces of twine and finished it off with a box.  I also added a small red enamel dot that I just picked up this weekend.  I love craft shopping for February!
Hope you have a great day!!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- That's the Point

Hello everyone! I'm posting over at Twine It Up with Trendy Twine. I'm back again with Totally White Trendy Twine.  Today, I made some pencil treats to show you.  I used the Skinny Candy BagsChoose Happy Stamp SetTag-It'sRaspberry Cupcake SequinsBlue Berry Sequins, and Lemon Tart Sequins.

I got these cute pencils in the check out line at Michael's.  The sayings were cute and I matched up some similar ones in each bag. I cut down the Tag-It's so that the sayings on the pencils would be seen and I picked out sentiments from the Choose Happy Stamp Set that kind of matched the pencils.

I tried to find matching Tag-It's but didn't have one of these pencil colors in my stash.  So I went with a pink one.  (Lavender would have been perfect!) I used Blue Berry Sequins to accent this one.

This is a Lemon Tag-It.  I then used some Lemon Tart Sequins too.

This one is a darker pink Tag-It but I don't see it in the store.  It was probably a different pink cardstock at one point.  I used Raspberry Cupcake sequins. I loved that the sentiment matched the one pencil!

These were fun to make and will be fun to give!

Have a great day!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Birthday Panda

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine and today I have a Clean and Simple card to show you today.  I used Totally White Trendy Twine and the black and while sequins from Lemon Midnight Sequins.

I am not one to make a card with no layers.  This is not usually LOL!  But I loved the simplicity of the black and white on the kraft cardstock.  It's my year to try new things I guess!

I used a cute little panda from Lawn Fawn called Party Panda.  I die cut him out and his cute little cupcake.  Then I wrapped my Totally White Trendy Twine around the card twice and tied a knot in the middle.  I pop dotted the panda and cupcake above the knot.

I'm not the best at placing my Lemon Midnight Sequins 'randomly' like some people are.  But I think the card still turned out cute

Have a wonderful day!
