Trendy Bakers Twine -- Easter Treats

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  Today I have a super quick treat to show you.  I used the new Treat Packets in Spring Green and Pink. I don't think the pink are in the store yet, but I made them both so I decided to show them both.  I also used Twisted Lime and Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine.

I really did keep these simple.  I didn't have a tiny Easter stamp to use on a small tag, so I pulled up a tag on my Cricut and had it write Happy Easter in a cute font and with my new Glitter Gel Pens.

I filled my treat bags with some pink jelly beans and taped it inside the treat cover.  Then I just wrapped my Twisted Lime Trendy Twine around the Pink Treat Packet and added my tag with the pink writing.  And the Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine went on Spring Green Treat Packet with the pink writing tag.

I think these would be very cute embossed but I didn't try that today.  These Treat Packets would be great to keep on hand for small treats and gifts.  Be sure to check them out in the store!

Have a great day!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Flower Birthday

Hello all!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  Today I have a quick card I made using  Twisted Lime Trendy Twine and the Twisted Lime Sequins.

This is a pretty simple card.  It was a pre-designed card on Cricut Design Space but with a shamrock.  I went with a flower instead since we are past St. Patrick's Day.  Besides the flower, I changed up the location of the squares so I could put my Twisted Lime Trendy Twine at the bottom and to add a stamped sentiment.

There are two flowers one on top of the other.  The top flower is curled a bit and I inked the edges. And there are pop dots in between to give a it of dimension.  I finished it off by adding some Twisted Lime Sequins.

Have a wonderful day!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Lucky Treat

Hello everyone! I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  This month we are featuring Twisted Lime Trendy Twine and the new Kraft Window Tubes.

I made a lucky 'pot of gold' treat. First, I stamped on the Kraft Window Tube while it was flat.  I used a St. Patrick's Day stamp set from Unity Stamp Company and colored in the shamrocks with a green marker.  Then I wrapped my Twisted Lime Trendy Twine around the bottom of the tube a few times and tied a small bow.  Then I pulled out my Twisted Lime Sequins and added them around the tube a bit. I love that there are matching sequins for some of the twine twists!

After all the decorating, I added my Hershey's Nuggets and mini Resees' Cups and filled my 'pot of gold' Kraft Window Tube.  This tube holds a lot of candy and will make a great treat for my student assistant next week.

There's lots of fun products over at Annie's Paper Boutique.  And the March Treat Packing Bundle is such a great deal! Don't miss out :)

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Hello Happy Mail

Hello everyone! I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine and I made a fun purse card to show you today.  I used Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine the Smile Stamp Set, You've Got Mail Stamp Set, and a few Raspberry Cupcake Sequins.

The card was a ready to make card in my Cricut Design Space.  Sometimes I like to look through there for some fun projects and this one was so cute!  It was supposed to use a Hello Kitty cut that I didn't own, but I just substituted one that I did own.

This is a purse shape and called for a snap to close it and a chain for the handle.  I couldn't find a snap to work so I used a few Raspberry Cupcake Sequins to add to the top for a button look.  And I wanted to use my Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine for the handle.

The instructions said to pop dot the Hello Kitty on the front.  That was a little boring so I glued my twine around the outside of the purse and then added a small banner die cut with the Hello from the Smile set. The design included and envelope which I did cut out and stamped the Happy Mail from the You've Got Mail Stamp set.

This was fun to make and I hope you have a great day!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello everyone and Happy Valentine's Day!

We have a special post today over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.

I got a Cricut Maker for Christmas (Yay!) and I was excited to try cutting felt on it.  I found this file for a heart felt basket and it was perfect to use for today's post.  One of the fun things about Trendy Twine is that you can use it to stitch with too!

I assembled the felt heart and cut out two smaller hearts from a regular heart in Design Space.  Next I grabbed my Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine and did a blanket stitch around the hear on both sides and on the smaller hearts.  I had to google the blanket stitch and I think I need to work on that!

I glued on the handle with hot glue and then found a button to sew on to have my hearts dangle.  This was so fun to make! I intended to make more than one but time got away from me.

I can't wait to cut more felt with my Maker and use my Trendy Twine to stitch with!

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Trendy Bakers Twine -- Hello Sweetie!

Hello everyone! Can you believe it's February?! This is such a fun month--I just love all the pink and red that is around since Valentine's Day is coming up. Over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine we are featuring Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine and the new Kraft Window Boxes.  I LOVE pink so this is a fun one for me :)

In my 'treat' boxes, I put make-up highlighters -- this is my daughter's favorite kind of 'treat'. She just loves make-up!  Before assembling them, I used the hearts from the You & Me Planner Stamps and stamped the hearts on all sides of the window using a neutral ink.

I put the highlighter in the box and wrapped my Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine around both ways to make a cute package.  Then I stamped my White Metal Rim Tags with two sentiments from the You & Me Planner Stamps and tied my bow. I did add a sequin to each tag from the Raspberry Cupcake Sequin Mix.

Have a fabulous day!

Trendy Baker's Twine -- Valentine's Treats

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine again this week to share a really quick Valentine's treat with you.  Everything I used on this (except the candy) you can purchase at Annie's Paper Boutique:  Berry Trendy TwineShorty Candy Chutes, and the Happy Valentine's Day Print and Punch Tags

These are so quick and easy to make!  I printed the Happy Valentine's Day Print and Punch Tags and use a 1 3/4 inch circle punch to punch them out. After filling the Shorty Candy Chutes with Hershey Kisses, I tied my Berry Trendy Twine around a few times then tied a bow.  All that was left was to use a few glue dots to stick my tag on.

They would be great for school Valentines' or even to give to your own friends or co-workers. You should head over to Annie's paper Boutique to get some boxes, twine and download some Print and Punch Tags.  There are other designs too!

Have a great day!
