Trendy Twine - Spooktacular Treats

Hello everyone!  It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  We are featuring the Skinny Candy Bags this month along with a few of the Halloween Trendy Twine twists.  I am using Grape Licorice Trendy Twine today.

I decided to use some cute Halloween pencils in my Skinny Candy Bags.   They were in a pack of 10 for $1 in the Target Dollar Spot.  I picked the pencils that had black and purple to go along with my Grape Licorice Trendy Twine.

The tags are cut from my Cricut and I stamped them with some Unity Stamps.  I colored in the wings and ears in black, and the teeth in white.  The I used my Wink of Stella clear pen to add glitter to the ears, wings and eyes.  Lastly, I tied the Grape Licorice Trendy Twine around several times, added the tag, and tied a bow.

Be sure to visit Annie's Paper Boutique to get these fun bags and twine twists while they are on special this month!

Pretty Darn Awesome!

Hello!  I just have a quick card I made today.  I used an adorable penguin stamp and sentiment from Unity Stamps Penguin Pals set.  I can't wait to play with the other penguins in the set!

I added the fabulous Black Licorice Trendy Twine to the top and a bit of gray shading with my Zig Clean Color markers.  It was a pretty fast card to put together.

I'm entering this in the Unity Be Inspired challenge.  I based it off the sketch but stood the card up and put the sentiment at the top.

Have a great day!

Holly Jolly Christmas

Hello everyone!  Today I have a card that I made for the current Unity Be Inspired Challenge.  I loved the sentiment kit this month so had to have it :)  This is the only card I made on World Card Making Day yesterday.  I hope to make some today though.

The kit is Believe in the Magic.  I followed the card sketch for the challenge but flipped it around.  I also used Gold and Clear Wink of Stella pens and used my Zig markers to color in. Here's a close up of the ornaments where I used the Wink of Stella--You still can't see it all but I think there's a bit of sparkle on the green ball ornament on the left.  The gold toppers sparkle too.

I'll probably make a few more of these -- they were easy to do once I figured out what I wanted to do.

Have a great day!

Trendy Twine and Batty Sequins

Hello everyone!  The Trendy Twine Design Team is introducing the new Batty Sequins today!! Sequins, along with Trendy Twine, are something I use all the time.  And I just love having some fun Halloween sequins to use.

I got to use the Grape Licorice Batty Sequins along with the fabulous Grape Licorice Trendy Twine. I also made my first ever shaker card.

The sequins are in the star shapes and then I also used some on the card and sentiment tag.  I learned a lot about making a shaker card and the number one thing is to get different foam.  I used some clear pop up dots which seemed like a great idea, but foam tape that I can cut down will be much better next time.

Now, be sure to head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine and make sure to visit everyone's blogs--they have some amazing projects to show you today!!  Plus, there are two other sequin mixes that you just need to have.

Visit Annie's Paper Boutique to get these fun sequins!!

Little Witch

Hello everyone!  I just have a quick card for you that I am entering in the Unity Hop today.  I used A Tiny Witch Set on this card and really love how it turned out!

I did have a little problem right in the middle where my finger smooshed the stickles and took a bit of color away.  I tried to add a bit more in, but it's not exactly how I wanted it to be.  But since it's watercolor, I went with it (plus, this was my second one after I messed up the first one's face!)

Have a great night!!

Trendy Twine - But First, Coffee

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  Today I have a coffee card to show you featuring the fabulous Cherry Latte Trendy Twine.

I cut the coffee cup from a file on Design Space.  It's about 4 inches tall.  The cup was a bit plain so I decided to fill around the 'wrap' with my Cherry Latte Trendy Twine. I pop dotted the little heart on after I stamped the sentiment from the Need Coffee stamp set.  To finish it off, I added some brown sequins and a bit of gold Wink of Stella pen to the 'steam'.

We've got something fun coming on Thursday so I hope you check back in.  And be sure to head over to Annie's Paper Boutique for all your Twine and packaging needs!

Watercolor Glasses Card

Hello everyone!  I decided to sign up for the Watercolor for Card Makers online class that started on Monday.  I haven't finished day 1 videos, but they let you have access to them all the time, so I am not worried.

I did make it through Day 2 (I think) and really wanted to try some tips.  This is not exactly what I was going for, but it will be fun to experiment!

I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads to make this background.  Then I used a Unity Stamp called Talk Nerdy for the glasses.  I did not use the sentiment for this card.  It will make a cute anytime note to send someone.

After stamping and before adding my star sequins, I did spritz this with some Glimmer Mist.  The sparkle does not show up in this picture though.

I can't wait to see Day 3 lessons and try everything out this weekend!

Have a fabulous day!
