Trendy Twine - Wish Card

Hello everyone!  It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  Today I have a card to show you featuring the fabulous Aqua Midnight Trendy Twine.

Our theme this month has been summer nights.  Well, when I was young, I loved to sit out and look at the stars and make wishes on them.  I don't do that as much anymore because down here in the south, I get eaten alive by mosquitoes!

For my card, I cut out the star shapes from MFT dies.  Then I glued my Aqua Midnight Trendy Twine onto the stars.  It did overlap a bit, but I like the look.  This was a bit detailed to do, but I had purchased a quilling glue bottle with a very fine tip and it worked beautifully! I added my wish stamp (also MFT Stamps) and some silver star sequins.

Be sure to visit Annie's Paper Boutique for all your twine and packaging needs!  There are also some fun planner stamps and the newest ones are now in the store too :)

Have a great day!

Trendy Twine - Family Time Treats

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine and today I have a quick little treat that will be fun for those summer family nights.  I used the fabulous Aqua Midnight Trendy Twine and the Clear Medium Pillow Boxes--this month's' spotlight!

I filled the Medium Pillow Box with Hershey's Kisses (my favorite).  Next I wrapped the Aqua Midnight Trendy Twine around the box and left 2 ends on one side.  The tag came from Cricut's A Child's Year Cartridge and I cut it out at about 2 1/2 inches, punched a hole on the one end and thread my twine through and tied a bow.  I finished it off with a few stick on gems.

These would be fun to have on your family game night table or out for the movie night you might have...if you can share that is :)

There are lots more fun treats and projects to come this month so make sure you come back to visit Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine all month long.  And in the meantime, visit Annie's Paper Boutique to get all your twine and packaging goodies!!

Have a fabulous day!!

Trendy Twine - I Miss You

Hi everyone!

It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today.  I have a quick card for you today featuring the fabulous Nautical Trendy Twine.

I cut out this fun life preserver from my Cricut.  The Nautical Trendy Twine was perfect for the 'rope' around the outside.  I taped a bit to the back and glued right on the edge to make the twine stick the way I wanted.

The waves paper was perfect for this card.  Then I added some sequins to finish it off.

Be sure to visit Annie's Paper Boutique for all your twine and packaging needs!

Have a great day!

Trendy Twine - Treats For You

Hello everyone! It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today and I have some fun treats using the Medium Candy Bags and the fabulous Nautical Trendy Twine.

I filled the Medium Candy Bag with yellow skittles.  I really wanted to use Starburst, but didn't really like the way they settled in there.  I should have gone for chocolate nuggets especially since I love to eat them :)

Next I cut some yellow polka dot paper 3 inches by 2 1/2 inches.  I scored it at 1 1/2 and folded it over.  Then I added my anchor border cut from my Cricut, stamped my sentiment and wrapped my Nautical Trendy Twine and tied the bow.  I used glue dots on both sides of the yellow dot paper to stick the header to the bag.

I do like how they turned out! This is a great twine twist and the bags are a really good deal for the price.  Be sure to head over to Annie's Paper Boutique to pick these up while they are on sale!

Have a fabulous day!!
