You Are My Happy National Stamping Month Promotion

Hi everyone!  Today I have a super quick, easy and cute card to show you.  I made it with 2 of the 3 stamps sets that are a special deal for National Stamping Month with Close to My Heart.   More on that after my card :)

I really decided to go simple on this one.  I just stamped the sun in yellow and then the sentiment in brown.   Add some fun Lemon Tart Trendy Twine with a bow in the middle and there you go!  Sometimes, I just like simple :)

So, here's the deal:  If you spend $50 in September with Close to My Heart, you can get the You Are My Happy 3-set special for just $10!  Here are the stamps sets:

The Icons and Sentiments come together in one folder and the Upper and Lower Alpha are in another.  A few of the icons can be cut out with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge (one of my very favorites!).

If you are spending $50, that also qualifies you for the September Stamp of the Month too :)

Please let me know if I can help you with an order.  I also have an Shop Now link on the right, but you can email too.

Have a wonderful day!

Back to School with Cherry Lemonade Trendy Twine

Hi everyone!  There are two new Trendy Twine colors releasing today--Cherry Lemonade and Lemon Peppermint.

We are highlighting Cherry Lemonade this month with a Back to School theme!

I made this card with the new Cricut Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge.  The mat with the numbers is shown in the book as a photo mat.  And the apple is an extra page element.  It cuts out in one color, but I cut another in green and just cut the leaf and stem on to add some more color to the apple.  I all decided to give it some dimension and pop dotted two together. The Cherry Lemonade twine was perfect to tie it all together!

Be sure to head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine and see the other design team projects.  And please join in our challenge this month:

Halloween Trendy Twine New Release

Hi everyone!  Today we have some fun new Halloween Trendy Twine to show you today!!  There are 5 new colors, but our main color for today is Trick or Treat.

I LOVE them all and used Trick or Treat and Spooktacular on my treat boxes.

The boxes come from the store here--there are several sizes and shapes that are perfect for Halloween Treats.  Make sure to add some when you order your twine :)  The circles were cut  from my Cricut Art Philsohpy Cartridge and the stamps are Close to My Heart.

I did go out to buy matching candy and am really surprised they didn't have any Halloween candy out yet.  But I bet it will be out soon!

Make sure to visit Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see all fun projects the Design Team came up with today and order your twine at the store soon :)

Trendy Twine Color #50 -- Celebration

Hi everyone!  It's a super fun day over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine--color number 50 is here and it's a Celebration!

We all have a project to show you today, so be sure to head over to the Trendy Blog so you don't miss anyone's.  Plus, there are 3 other new colors out today too, so be sure to check out the store too!!

I'm not sure if you noticed, but this twine goes along with anything Disney :), so we all have Disney themed projects today.

I used the 2 x 2 clear square boxes that you can buy along with your twine :) These are awesome boxes--perfect for some quick treats/gifts.  Then I filled them with some peppermints and wrapped a 1 inch wide piece of Disney paper around the box.  I cut out the Mickey's from my Mickey Font Disney cartridge (2 inches) and used my Celebration twine to outline the Mickey ears.  Finally, I tied some twine around the box and glue dotted my Mickey's on.

Thanks for visiting!!

Flower Challenge

Hi everyone!  I have been working outside my comfort zone lately a lot.  This time, I colored--haven't really done that in a long time.  And I don't have Copics (not in my price range) but I used some Aqua Markers from Letraset.

This is a free image from Unity for a Coloring contest they are having over on Facebook.  I have no thoughts that I would even win, but wanted to at least stretch myself and enter.

I am entering this in the 3 Girl Jam Anything Goes Challenge.

I used some glittery purple paper for the background.  And I added all those tiny pearls to the netting -- they are from Close to My Heart.   I used almost the whole sheet!  To finish it off, I did add some Frosted Lace Stickles in spots--didn't want to overwhelm and I pop dotted the top layer on top of the ribbon.

The color is not as good on this close up, but I wanted to show the details a bit more.

This was an image that we downloaded so I printed several.  As I was coloring my second try (can't cut straight!), my 14 year old daughter was asking me about my markers, and then said she kinda wanted to color one herself.  So she sat down with me, picked out her markers, paper, ribbon and pearls (I choose mine after hers--she inspired me!) and made her own card!  I wanted to show it off here.
I think s she did a great job!  This does look a bit better in person, the color seems off, but I did take the pictures after the sun went down.

Thanks for stopping by--have a fabulous day!!
