Trendy Twine -- New Year's Treats

Hello everyone!  I'm posting over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine today. I have made some quick treat boxes that you can give out on New Year's or a New Year's Eve Party.

I used the 2x2 Clear Boxes that you can find in the store along with the fabulous Holly Berry Trendy Twine.

First, I filled the 2x2 box with some silver Hershey Kisses.  Next I cut a 1 inch white card stock and wrapped it around the box.  I cut a red circle out and stamped the happy and new year at the top and bottom of the circle so I could wrap my Holly Berry Twine around and tie the bow in the middle. Lastly, I added 2 silver stars I die cut to the front with pop dots.

Have a fabulous day and a very Happy New Year!

Trendy Twine -- Merry Christmas!

Hello everyone!  The Trendy Twine Design Team would like to wish you a Merry Christmas!!   This was my Christmas card this year....not very fancy, but at least it was home made and I got them out before Christmas  :)

I used my Cricut to cut out the card and the fabulous Candy Cane Trendy Twine to accent my card.

I hope you head over to Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine to see all the Christmas wishes.

Have a very Merry Christmas!!

Trendy Twine -- A Holly Berry Christmas

Hello everyone!  It's my turn to post over at Twine It Up! with Trendy Twine.  Today, I made a cute little treat box using the Candy Tin and some Holly Berry Trendy Twine.  I also added two sequins from the new Holly Berry Sequins Mix :)

I did make this a simple gift, but I think it looks like a nice little gift.  I filled my tin with 8 tiny Kit Kat Bars and then I cut a two inch wide strip of paper to wrap around the tin.  The nice thing about that is the paper will slide off so the tin can be re-used :)

You may notice that the holly matched the candy -- to be honest, that did not even register with me until I edited the pictures!  I just cut the holly because I wanted to make the twine berries :)  I did add some glittery accents to the edges and middle of the leaves, but I don't think that shows very well in the pictures.

To make the berries, I put down some glossy accents and wound my Holly Berry Twine into a swirl.  I love how it looks!  I added the tag, stamped with Merry Christmas and then two of the flat sequins from the Holly Berry Sequin Mix.

These Candy Tins are so fun and such a great price.  Be sure to go grab a few over at Annie's Paper Boutique for your last minute gifts!

Have a great day!
