Hi everyone!  Today was the baby shower I was hosting at work and boy am I tired!  But I promised I would get on and draw winners, so here I am :)

Congratulations!! You are now at 600 followers. Very cool!! Can't wait to see more projects.
I will be contacting you at the email you left and send this out as soon as I can!

So since this candy started, I hit 600 followers!!  Thanks again everyone!  So I decided to draw another winner for some different candy.  I thought I would have had time to shop for all of it and let you know, but it was a busy week.  I do have one or two things, but this one will have to be a surprise!!  So the surprise prize :) goes to  # 79 IRW Dana!!  She said:
Congrats on the followers. I check your blog regularly but now I'm a follower too. Thanks for the inspiration you share.
I also will be contacting you at the email you left and send it out after I finish shopping--LOL!

Thanks everyone for all your sweet comments and I'm sure I'll have some more giveaways soon!  And I'll get back some regular posting now that my big event is over :)

Crazy Busy Week!

Hi everyone!  I know I was supposed to draw 2 winners for my blog candy today, but I'm hosting a baby shower at work tomorrow and this week has just been crazy because of it.  I will pick and post Thursday night.

So I think I have everything ready to take in.  Here's a picture of my 1st every diaper cake.  I have always wanted to make one!

I used the blackout feature for all the cuts from New Arrival.  I'm not sure of the sizes--I'll have to post that part with the rest of the things I made tomorrow or the next day.  I'm beat, so I'm off to bed for tonight!

My Pink Stamper Design Team Project

Hi everyone!  Today's project is for My Pink Stamper's Design Team post.  The theme this month is Love or Something Pink and a My Pink Stamper stamp, of course!  We are showcasing her Love-alicious or Happiest Moments Stamp sets.

My card is Pink and has a Valentine theme to it!  My stamp set is My Pink Stamper Love-alicious.  Here are the rest of the details:
  • Heart cut from Celebrate with a Flourish at 3 1/2 inches
  • The Paper Company Sugar and Sweet Stack pattern paper
  • Red and Cotton Candy Stickles
  • Pebbles Ribbon
  • Pop dots
I used pop dots between the layers of the heart to give it dimension and then I also pop dotted it on the card. A tip on the stickles--since I covered the whole area, the paper tends to droop down.  I put my cricut tools under the swirly parts while this dried.   My husband said I needed to add pop dots to these parts since they were sticking up, but I love that they swirl out!

Make sure to go over to the My Pink Stamper blog to check out the entire design team's amazing projects and see how to order Robyn's amazing stamps!!

And there is one more day for my giveway (and I will be drawing a 2nd winner for a yet to be determined prize)!  Click {HERE} to go the correct post to enter.

Fantabulous Cricut Neglected Cartridge Challenge #44

Hi everyone!!  Today's Fantabulous Cricut Challenge is to use a cartridge that you haven't used in 6 months.  I have several of those plus some I got recently and haven't used either--LOL!  So make sure you pull out that cartridge you haven't used and join in the fun!

I decided to use my Tinkerbell cartridge.  I haven't tried the fairies yet, but there are plenty of other cute cuts on this cartridge.  Here are the details:
  • Mushroom cut at 4 inches
  • Cuttlebug Spots and Dots Folder
  • My Pink Stamper Punny-licious stamp
  • American Crafts ribbon
  • Yellow and Cotton Candy Stickles
  • Signo White Pen
Just to let you know, I thought I would not like the black with these colors, so I cut that layer out in white 1st.  Well, it looked horrible!  So I did cut it out again in black and I just really do love the way this card turned out!!

Make sure you head over to the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog to see everyone's work and to play along :)  And on February 7th, we are having another Cricut Crawl, and you won't want to miss it!!

Wow!!

Hi everyone!  Sorry I don't have anything to show you today.  I made 2 cards last night but they are Design Team projects so you'll see one on Monday and the other on Tuesday.  And today, I had to leave the house too early for a Saturday so my daughter could take the ACT test through the Duke TiP program.  It seemed like such a good idea until we had to get up early--LOL!  So half my day was shot.  The rest of the day was just wasted since I started to feel run down.

But, I am now at 600 followers---WOW!  Thanks everyone!!  I promise I'll get back to more regular posting--it's just been a busy few weeks.

Since I hit another milestone, I am going to draw 2 winners from my Blog Candy post.  Make sure to comment on that post to be eligible.  I'm not sure what that prize will totally be yet, but I did pick up some good deals at JoAnns while my daughter was test taking.  I'll let you all know the prize when I draw the winners!!

Have a great rest of the weekend!  I do hope to post a project on Sunday unless I feel worse.

My Pink Stamper Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Pink Stamper Blog Hop!!   If you started here, please make sure to go back to the beginning at My Pink Stamper so you can get all the Key Words so you can play along.  This first hop is for Robyn to introduce her 2011 Design Team.  She asked us to give you all a short bio of ourselves.

I started out scrapbooking 12 years ago. My friends talked me into joining Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator, but I wasn't very good at selling :)  I got my baby Cricut for Christmas in 2007 and upgraded to my Pink Cricut Expression in May of 2010; the Gyspy came in June that same year. I mostly make cards right now, but love scrapbooking and really need to get back to that, so hopefully, you will see more pages from me in the future. I am so honored and excited that Robyn asked me to be on her Design Team again this year!!  I LOVE her stamps and can't wait to see what else she has in store for all of us!!

Now, on to the blog hop!!  If you just came from Lori at Live Laugh Scrap you're on the right track!  Make sure to read all the way to the end for your key word to play along :)
Here are the details on the card:
  • Flower from Simply Charmed cartridge cut at 4 1/2 inches
  • My Pink Stamper Everyday Life Stamp
  • The Paper Studio Sugar & Sweet stack for the patterned paper
  • Colored paper is from Bazzill
  • Martha Stewart Loopy edge punch
  • American Crafts ribbon
  • iRock
I cut out all the layers for the flower and I also added the shadow cut out in white paper.  If you have any questions, please let me know!!

If you leave a comment here, you'll be entered to win a set of Robyn's stamps.  Please leave one comment and a way for me to contact you.  One winner will receive her Love-alicious set!!  (Thanks Robyn!) I'll leave this open until Sunday night at 9pm.

Your Key Word to collect is IN.  Now your next stop on the hop is Agnes at Flowerdisco's Scrap Hut.  I'm sure she'll have something wonderful, as always to show you!  Have fun and I hope you play along :)

A little birdie told me....

Hi everyone!  We have had quite a cold, snowy/icy week here.  I am finally back at work today after having 4 days off which is a bit of a bummer since my kids are still off.  But then I get a three day weekend so I really should not complain :)

I made a card that fits this week.  Here are the details:
  • Bird from 3 Birds on Parade cut at 3 1/2 inches
  • My Pink Stamper Winter Punnies stamp
  • Bazzill Basics Paper
  • Cotton Candy Stickles
  • American Crafts Stickles
I'm not sure what the patterned paper is--sorry!  I pull a lot out of my scrap piles.

Make sure to tune in tonight to the My Pink Stamper Blog Hop.  You need to start at Robyn's blog at My Pink Stamper.  It will be lots of fun and you will be able to join in!  I think I will have some blog hop candy for you :)

Winter Wonderland Frame

Hi everyone!  We are on Snow Day #4 here in GA.  I supposed to go back to work tomorrow but 2 hours late.  Then I get 3 more days off.  What a crazy time it's been here!  But at least it's supposed to be warm and I should be able to get out and about finally--LOL!

I made this for a challenge for the Circle Blog.  I am really tired of snow, but I had to use white paint, metal and a snowflake--Ugg!  I have some snow pictures from Christmas that would be great for this, but our mail delivery was delayed 2 days and they haven't come yet.  Here are the details:
  • Winter Wonderland cut at 2 inches and Snowflake cut at 3 inches from Wrap It Up
  • The frame is wooden and came from a kit I had never put together so I painted it white.  The metal part is a book plate that came with the kit.
  • Bazzill Basics paper in Baby Blue Dark and Caribbean Breeze
  • Recollections Rhinestore Sticker--I cut pieces off to add to the frame
  • Frosted Lace & Baby Blue Stickles
  • iRock Gems
I think it will look great when I get a picture for it!

Dishwasher Magnets

Hi everyone!  Today I have dishwasher magnets to show you.  No one in our house can figure out if the dishwasher is clean or dirty.  Half the time, they don't bother putting their dishes in anyway--LOL!  We've been using a magnetic chip clip with a ratty piece of paper that I wrote clean on to let everyone know it's time to empty.  My husband said before Christmas that I need to use my Cricut and make something nicer.  So I finally did yesterday (Snow Day #2).

Here are the details:
  • From My Kitchen Cartridge--Ovals cut at 3 1/2 inches; Silverware cut at 1 3/4 inches
  • Alphalicious letters cut at 2 1/4 inches
  • 5 x 8 inch Adhesive Magnetic Sheeting (I used two of these)
  • TCP Studio So Delish Toast & Pear Delight Patterned paper
  • Bazzill Basics Paper in Suede Brown Medium and Caribbean Breeze
  • Zip Dry Glue
I cut the magnet material out with the Deep Blade x's 4.  Then I cut the patterned paper out from the same cut and just stuck it on since the magnetic was adhesive.  I used the Zip Dry Glue to stick everything on for a better hold.

It was super easy and I can't wait to cut more magnets out for decorations!!  That's after we are not snowed/iced in and I can go to the store again--LOL!

Don't forget that My Pink Stamper is having a blog hop this Friday night at 9pm Central --that's 10pm Eastern, 8pm Mountain, 7pm Pacific.  This is her first monthly hop introducing her new My Pink Designers so make sure to hop along!!

Wool you be mine?

Hi everyone!  Here's a card from Just Because Cards.  I have about 10 carts that I just bought or received for Christmas that I haven't used yet and this was one of them!  Here are the details for my card today:
  • Base card, sheep/layer sheep, frame all cut at 5 1/2 inches.  This made the card size 5 1/2 x almost 4 inches.
  • My Pink Stamper More Punny-licious stamp
  • Imaginisce Enchanted patterned paper and iRock Gems
  • Watermelon and Berry Sensation Bazzill Cardstock
  • Corner Rounder
  • Ameican Crafts Taffy Ribbon

I think I'm really going to like this cartridge!! I have another day off today so I hope to get even more done.  I spent yesterday morning trying to organize my craft area and made a bit of progress, but today will be all creating!

Fatabulous Cricut Challenge #42 Winter Warmies

Hi everyone!  We had a holiday break at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge for a bit, but it's great to be back!  For this challenge, you need to use something to keep you warm.  I have been wanting to use these mittens from Jolly Holidays and this was my chance.  Here are the details:
  • Mittens cut at 4 inches from Jolly Holidays -- I cut the mittens out 2 times and layered with pop dots in between.  I also pop dotted the whole thing on the card for more demetion--I'm really loving doing this.
  • My Pink Stamper Winter Punies Stamp
  • DCWV stack pattern paper
  • Blue Ribbon
  • iRock Stickles
I really love the way this turned out!  Make sure to visit the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog to the design team's Fantabulous creations and to play along for your chance to win!!

Oh and I just want to remind you that I am now a .com instead of blogpspot.com.  If you have my button, please re-grab!

You're a Great Catch!

Hi everyone!

We're waiting for a snow and ice storm here in GA tonight into tomorrow, so I hope to have an extra day at home to create!

Here's a card I made with Simply Charmed and a My Pink Stamper stamp.  I knew as soon as I saw the caught fish on the cartridge that Robyn had made the perfect stamp to go with it :)

Here are the details:
  • Fish and Pole cut at 3 1/2 inches from Simply Charmed
  • My Pink Stamper Even More Punny-licious stamp
  • Dvine Swirl Cuttlebug folder
  • Black, Baby Blue, Yellow and cotton Candy Stickles
  • Blue self-stick ribbon
  • Fiskars Zingz sticker dots
I'm not sure if you are supposed to weave the fishing line through the holes, but it really does work and I love the way it looks.

I think I might start to try to make videos--what do you think?  I'm really not sure I'll like the way I sound on it, but I'm going to try to borrow my daughter's Flip she got for Christmas and test it out soon!

Luv Bug

Hi everyone!  If you haven't heard the news yet, Robyn, My Pink Stamper has asked me to be on her 2011 Design Team!!  I am so happy that she asked me back to be a My Pink Designer! I love her stamps and can't wait to see what she has in store for everyone this year.

I was working on this card last night before her UStream and finished it rather late.  I used my new Simply Charmed cartridge for it.  Here are all the details:
I hid the face features on my Gypsy thinking I had a face stamp that would work, but I didn't.  So I drew a simple face on and still used the cheek cuts that had cut out.  I'm going to be working on more Valentine Cards and the My Pink Stamper stamps are perfect for them!

Robyn's going to have a blog hop next Friday night to debut the Design Team so make sure to tune in :)

#1 Star

Hi everyone!  I've bought my domain name and my blog link will change in the next day or two.  It will be CraftingCricutMom.com--which is way shorter now--LOL!

Here's a card for this week's Circle challenge.  We had to make a shape, other than a rectantagle, use a number on there and bling.

Here are the details:
  • Smiley Cards Star shape card cut at 5 1/2 inches
  • Graphically Speaking for top star cut at 5 inches
  • Hannah Montana #1 cut at 7 inches
  • DCWV Flower Power cardstock
  • Yellow Stickles
  • Yellow iRock gems
It was super simple to put together!

I'm hanging today and hope to get some more creating done.  But I had to take the puppy out at 5am and hit the barrier for her at the bottom of the stairs pretty hard.  I have a nasty bump and cut on my leg--it's not pretty.  But at least I can walk a little better now.

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!!  I have to go back to work tomorrow :(
