Beware of the Spider

Hi everyone!  Today is the day--I made it through to the next round of the Practical Scrappers Card Making Contest!!!!  Thanks so much for all your support :)  The next round is a voting round as well.  So if you could, please vote for me.  You can vote once a day and you just need to go to this link Practical Scrappers: Card Contest Finalists Round Two  and leave a comment with my name again.  I would really appreciate it!

This is the card I made for the next round.  I made 3 different ones but my daughter thought this one was the one to send.  I really liked yesterday's too, so I hope I made the right decision.

Here are the details:
  • Chic and Scary
    • Web cut from Vellum at 4 1/2 inches
    • Spider cut at 2 inches
  • My Pink Stamper Spook-alicious stamp
  • Echo Park Apothecary Emporium paper (web paper behind purple
  • Doodlebug
    • Halloween Assortment Twine
    • Spooky Town Mini Jewels (purple gem on twine)
  • Marth Stewart Web Edge Punch
  • iRock gems (on web)
  • Black Diamond Stickles
  • Zip Dry
  • Pop Dots
I covered the spider in the Black Diamond stickles and let it dry.  This made the legs curl just a bit.  when I pop dotted it onto the web, I was able to bend the legs towards the web to make it look like it's grabbing on.  The card is a 5 1/2 inch square.

Thanks again everyone!!!

Helen
